I agree about the Ash thing. However, for the sake of fairness, Kaidan would get an alt appearance too, so those who kept him alive in ME1 aren't screwed out of it. On the downside this probably means one less space for other less situational characters. Which raises another question. Javik sorely needs another armour design that isn't a recolour, but the fact of the matter is he's another situational character as not everyone bought From Ashes/the CE.

Really though, it all depends on how big BW wants to make the next pack. Leaving out the situationals and those who were in the first (excluding Shep) that leaves James and Tali, and I'm inclined to believe that Ash and/or Kaidan would take the 3rd slot.

Shep's a non-issue, he's/she's bound to get a new armour set. (Preferably customisable this time, like the Kestrel set in ME2

Can we just get the alternate appearances that came w/ the Collector's Edition of the games? I've been dying to pimp out Liara in her Justicar uniform.

Since the first images of her were shown I'm almost compulsive in my need to comment on every Ash appearence related thread/post I see. What Bioware's design team did to her in the name of "moar sexy" is absolutely horrible imo. Not only does the new look not increase her appeal in the slightest (as far as I'm concerned), but the standard outfit is simply ridiculous.

Although I'm basically done with Mass Effect I would appreciate the option to give a once solid character back some dignity!

Well see, Garrus and Tali are both "possible" squadmates that you aren't guaranteed to have(ME2 considering).

So I'd say its all fair.

I think it's needed, since two of Ashley's 4 appearances are just her uniform aboard the Normandy & a reskinned version of it.
Compare Kaiden, who has three unique armors (Albeit two of them match up with Vega's) & a reskin of his default armor.

Standard Alliance fatigues for Ashley to wear aboard the Normandy

Some sort of skin-tight suit for FemShep (just for laughs)

Leather jacket + jeans outfit for FemShep as a casual outfit

Turian Military armor for Garrus (the black and red one all the others wear)

ME1/ME2 Phoenix Armor for Ashley to wear in battle

Garrus just got the black and red Terminus armor, I doubt he'll get anything in that color scheme now.

 As for the new alt appearance pack I like the design of the ajax( it is like the n7 demolisher) I really wish they had just gone ahead and given us that instead since it was very similar. But yea I am also tired or Cerberus armor, visors and helmets none of which I like. I would really really like to see some specter weapons and armor. But yea like you said more alliance,spectre, and n7 themed stuff.

Sorry if anyone has already suggested it, and I know there are problems story wise, but what I would really like to see is TALI WITHOUT THE MASK. It would be a great way to make up for the fan backlash about Tali's appearance. Remember the edited stock photo fiasco? Keep the hood but loose the mask so we can see a proper Quarian face at last. It could be explained in a codex or something as her volunteering to help with experiments to get the Quarian people back to living outside the suits now they have their homeworld back.

First of all, fix the red lights on Garrus's Terminus armor. I played with my own Terminus armor when i had him use his. And the light on Shepard's armor are alot brither and more noticeable then Garrus's.

I would love to see a more bulky armor for Ash. She is a soldier after all. Maybe make a alliance themed suit for Tali "I donno". And maybe a "shocktrooper" armor for Javik, with a badass helmet.

Something for Ashley/Kaidan (although Kaidan died in my playthrough they go together)

and something more colorful for Tali (without being silly)

I would expect the next AAP to feature Kaidan, Ashley, Tali and James. As with the AAP1, there would be four new outfits and all base team mates would be covered.

Tali could us a mask that is not as heavily tinted as those existing ones and would show little bit of her face. Quarian faces are shown in ME3 anyway.
James has already decent selection in the vanilla game. His N7CE looks great, but maybe BioWare designers can come up with something even better.
Ashley could use an armor. She already has the alt outfit, but its the same model the busticar uses in MP. There should be an Alliance insignia.
Kaidan is dead in all my imports, dont really care.

Javik would not wear something created by primitives and I doubt there is any company designing armor for his people - the market is bit too small.

I would not mind Miranda-style visor for some of the human characters.

I would gladly buy a dlc with more armors for Shepard. Just not cerberus, it makes no sense for me to wear a cerberus armor. Alliance, Spectre, N7, or turian or krogan inspired armor would be great.
