Since the first images of her were shown I'm almost compulsive in my need to comment on every Ash appearence related thread/post I see. What Bioware's design team did to her in the name of "moar sexy" is absolutely horrible imo. Not only does the new look not increase her appeal in the slightest (as far as I'm concerned), but the standard outfit is simply ridiculous.

Although I'm basically done with Mass Effect I would appreciate the option to give a once solid character back some dignity!

She looks like Victoria Beckham with guns in ME3

Well, ME3 Ashley isn't ME1 Ashley. ME1 Ashley's writer left way before ME3 Ashley was conceived, so yeah.

Lame. But hey, if we get a bun or ponytail, we can at least pretend its the same person.

For style, I'd love to see armor styled after the different races (kinda the inverse of Garrus getting a Turian version of the Terminus armor), like Liara's Asari-style armor she wears in her first Alternate and From Ashes outfit.

For substance, I'd REALLY love to see more full armor sets that benefit power-based characters. Right now, only the Blood Dragon and Inferno armor are of any real use to power-based characters.

Heck, combine the two and give me an outfit that's kinda like Liara's default outfit. Casual and stylish, but armored.

While I only have one game with Ash in it, I would like to see the heavy armor style from the first one more in her gear and no more heels! What kind of soldier runs into a battle in an outfit that looks like she is out clubbing? Dunno why they didn't put characters in their alternate appearance packs in ME3, would have liked to have seen Grunt in his.

james and javik should get outfits.  ashley with her old haircut would be great, and basically replace her current look in all my playthroughs.  (But then what about kaiden?  I dont really care about tali.  I would have liked an me2 squadmate instead of having tali on my squad)

Seriously though, I don't see why Bioware can't cater to multiple tastes. Give Shepard & Co. some skin-tight or skimpy outfits and some serious, badass bulky armor. Personally I don't care about Ashley's hair, but I'd like to see her in heavier armor, whether it's her old heavy phoenix amor or even retextured N7 Defender. But my Femshep is a biotic infiltrator who relies heavily on moving quickly, staying out of sight and striking with tremendous damage. Something like an N7 variant of the asari commando armor would be ideal. And there's no reason Shepard can't dress a little sexier on the Normandy.  After all, Ashley does.

Cerberus Pack
- Cerberus Fatigues and General Oleg's Uniform as Casual Appearances.
- Project Phoenix armor for Manshep, Phantom armor with Project Phoenix Helmet for Femshep. Armor gives boosts to power recharge speed, power damage, melee damage, and gives a unique bonus for movement speed. 
- Guardian Armor for James, Cerberus Assault Armor for Kaiden, and Cerberus Ajax Armor for Ashley. Vega has the Death Mask instead of Guardian Helmet. Ashley has her long hair replaced by a bun and wears a sentry interface visor, with her breather mask in toxic environments. Kaidan gets N7 Slayer/Shadow helmet. 

Alliance Pack
- Alliance Hoodie and Alliance Leather Jacket available as Casual Appearances. Leather Jacket is not replaced by dress for Femshep.
- Alliance Marine Armor as seen in cutscenes on Earth. Armor boosts health, weapon damage, and headshot damage, and gives a unique bonus for Medi-Gel capacity. 
- Eva Core skin for EDI wearing black and blue armor like Ashley and Liara's default alternates, Liara gets alliance themed Kassa Fabrication armor. 

Specter Pack
- Specter themed Battle Dress Uniform, light blue with silver accents. Specter themed Spacer outfit, dark blue with white accents, Femshep version replaced with Leather Dress.
- Specter Armor, Kaiden default armor model. Shiny silver with dark blue and black accents. Armor boosts Shields, Shield Regen, Ammo Capacity and gives a unique bonus for negotiation. 
- Garrus gets ME1 Phantom Armor colored light blue and white, Tali gets armor based off of Inferno Armor, colored silver and dark blue.

Purchasing any of the above packs with From Ashes DLC installed will give Javik a new appearance. Heavy Gold Armor covers his entire body with bright red accents and light green lights. Armor would be more ornate but still with the ancient samurai feel. What I envision Prothean General armor to look like.

Purchasing any of the packs will also give a bonus feature of toggling Shepard's helmet off during combat (with the exception of toxic environments). 

^ What do you guys think? I think I put in a little something for everyone there, each pack could cost about $3.

Made some changes. I think some more armor packs with customizable pieces would be cool too, I find myself mostly wearing armor sets though.

New modular armour for Shepard - with bonuses not available on other armour pieces, ie: increased grenade capacity, better recoil control, increased movement speed.
Or we could go really left field and have the armour actually do its job and protect the wearer: 5% damage reduction for each piece. A bit controversial perhaps but worth putting out there.
Oh and new Tali outfit please either something that looks a bit more techy with circuitry imprinted on the surface or a heavy armour variant with thick plating ideal for someone who operates at close range with a shotgun.
Oh and a transparent visor.

I think a cosplay pack would be nice. Just as some random combinations for example, Morrigan's clothing for EDI, Isabela's clothing for Liara (is it just me, or have Liara's breasts doubled in size in ME3?), Death's Hand's (masked antagonist from Jade Empire) armour and mask for Shepard...

Failing that, giant plastic Anderson heads for everyone to wear.
