They gave EDI proper armor.
I'm content as far as squaddie appearances go now. Especially since I always reduce Ash to, well, ashes on Virmire.

For Tali: Do something radically different than her other two appearances. Surprise me something really badass. I would ask for transparent visor but lol, that won't happen. Or if it did it would be massively rushed and thus bad.

And Javik - I dunno. Something alien and not just a visor tweak. But we need Javik to have a 3rd armor.

For Shepard? Spectre logo armor please.

2nd important idea: Less gun packs please, more of stuff like this. I have an INSANE number of guns now, I don't need or want more.

To start. I would want an AA pack that is not complete rubbish like the one we just got.

Second. Can I actually for once get the chance to wear the spectre logo? Screw N7 or the Alliance logo. I want the spectre one!

Well dang, it would help if you explained why you thought the one we just got was rubbish.

Well to start...

Liara's armor looks something like an incompetent fanartist shat out in 5 minutes.

Garrus' is just slapping him in the Terminus armor which looks weird and clunky on him.

EDI's is the only halfway okay, but even her's is ruined by that ****** visor which trumps even Grunt's dual-visors from the last AA pack.

As for Shepard's... Who the f""" had the bright idea of giving us a Cerberus colored armor? Was making a high-res version of the N7 demolisher's outfit just too much to ask? Was that too much trouble?

Atleast the last two AA's had one redeeming outfit in them.

Honestly, I'm a little tired of Ash's hair being down. So I'm all for the bun being back.

I would actually love it if Liara got FFXIII's franchise Lightning costume since they both share the same voice actress and Square-Enix already did the N7 armour DLC in Final Fantasy XIII-2.

Oh dear. I know a few people who'd...oh dear.

I'd instantly buy this (middle and right):

No longer the trooper look from ME and ME2, but more fitting to her character than her current look.

Least they could give Ash(if they won't bring back the bun) is a ponytail like what I assume her hairstyle is in that concept art.

Hell she looks better in the right and middle than she does on the left.

Damn, sucks if you disliked everything. Personally I dislike the Ajax Armor because its nonsensically Cerberus of all things, but otherwise I thought the pack had good armors for the squad.

And HEY, I LIKED GRUNT'S ALTERNATE APPEARANCE.

On that subject, Miranda's armor there for Ashley would be pretty sweet(minus the Cerberus stuff obviously. Hell, give it the Spectre logo).

Though I do still hope for a heavier armor for Ash with a ponytail or ME1-bun.

Heavier than fem!Sheps heavy armor she already has as optional outfit? :P
I don't want to imagine Ashley in Vega's armor. Seriously ... not fun.

Dunno if it's possible to bring back the bun. On the other hand: if I'm right, hairstyle and helmets are treated identically, otherwise you'd see her hair with helmet on. So it should be possible to simply switch her hairstyle with the outfit she wears.

Okay, that was a little mean towards him. haha :)

Point being, "Heavy Armor" for Ash does not equate towards looking as big as Vega does.

The thing with that is she'd have to have a helmet for certain atmospheres unless they want to give her the bun/ponytail and one of those lame ass facemasks.

Those "lame facemasks" are ... yeah, that.

In ME1 you had planets with a potentially deadly athmosphere. In ME2 and 3 those dangers are gone - hell, you even could do a field trip with Miranda and Samara in their standard outfits. I'm no expert here, but an organic body doesn't like it to be exposed to an acid athmosphere or vacuum - a facemask won't help you to stay alive.

Technically, things could be different if BW had thought about that issue before and simply DISALLOW non-helmet outfits in such environments. That means every character needs at least one full armor with helmet. Hope BW keeps that in mind for ME4.

Or just stop with the "we want characters to be visually appealing even when it makes zero sense" mindset.

You can be visually appealing and still be functional. Hell, Garrus still looks like a badass with a helmet over his head. Tali's a unique case but of course she's just fine without ever seeing her face(not counting that half-assed picture).

A helmet isn't going to kill a character's individuality.

^ exactly.

That's why I love ME1, despite the bad inventory system. The armors were complete space suits and able to protect its wearer against most environmental hazards. It even was a feature, as I said, while exploring planets: some of them were hazardous and could kill you, even WITH that suit.

And: while being on board of the Normandy, you still had plenty of time to enjoy the beauty of Ashley and Liara - or the handsomeness of Kaidan and Garrus. I think ME1 was the most realistic part of the series.

At least as far as armor went, sure.

But I'd like for them to keep doing what they're doing with armors in ME3- distinctive. Just make them distinctive AND functional, jeez.
