There's no female warrior companion in game, and that's quite a big gap in the lineup.
Definitely not evil, because i have enough people ****ing at me every time I try to actually, you know, accept a quest.

Then there could be a quest where you have to get rid one way or another of the Qunaris hunting her for honor, revenge or whatever...
If not for a companion, I would enjoy it as new player character's origin too

Maybe the addon include 2 mage arcane warriors, bu you have to choose which 1 u have, as they enimies 2 each other.
One is good, learns to wards defense and healing (like a paladin type of character)
The other is evil, learns towards offense and curses (like a dark knight type of character)
You side with 1 and kill the other to get them to join the party.

A female Qunari, who just violently escaped her homeland to be what she wanted and was not allowed to be: A fighter.
This thought DID cross my mind more than once. The only doubt is that we really don't know much about qunari females, their looks included. Though it would be interesting
We definitely need a warrioress of sorts.

I agree with Abriael_CG, although I
wouldn't talk about good/evil. There is no definite evil other than the
darkspawn in this game, and that's what I really like about it.
What I mean is that in an RPG like this making choices that bring help to others is what leads to most gameplay chances. Killing or ignoring quest givers makes the game radically dull. While some may enjoy the cheap thrill of that, I wouldn't say that amounts to the majority of gamers in the least. Not even nearly.
Having more chances to have someone nagging at me every time i accept a quest isn't exactly the best choice in the long run, so someone that doesn't find absolutely immoral to help others would IMHO be the best choice, gameplay-wise.

Most definitely a female tank, possibly the strong/stern type, and definitely romanceable. Tanned skin and scarred face would be a welcome optional.

Definitely agree with this along with the male mage needed too, though maybe the female warrior could also be a DWARF female fighter? Or am I just being kinky...

Jowan was intended to join the party at Redcliffe, you had the possibility to evoke the right of conscription, this idea however, was dismissed quite early. Pity, I think he's an interesting character.
Agreed, would have loved to have recruited him. [Removed rest as I realised it was a spoiler].

The one I'm looking for is an elven female character. Maybe a two handed warrior, evil of course. In DA you can't really follow an evil plot because everyone starts crying when you take an evil decision. Zevran should be the sadistic one in the party but isn't adequate to the role due to his attitude towards sex that makes him really funny (the dialogues with wynne are hilarious).
Another one I would like to see is another dwarf... a commoner this time, maybe a thief or stuff like that.

There are already too many Warrior types, so a Ranger or a Blood Mage would be ok.
Or maybe, she's could be some kind of elf-werewolf thingie to make her more special / interesting to play. I actually wanted to make a mod with this idea, but then realized it was just too much work

Jowan would indeed be the most logical and valuable addition to the lineup of NPCs.-Conspirator wrote...

Out of the current ones, six are already warriors (Alistair, Oghren, Sten, Mr. X, Shale and the Mabari), so there's not really a lot of need for extras there. There are only two Rogues and two Mages; given that the latter are far more necessary to have along than the former (unless you are made of money and gulp down healing poultices like mad), and that one of those Mages isn't even guaranteed to join your group at all, they're somewhat thinly spread in terms of replayability.
Ideally the new NPC would therefore be a male mage, who can side with both an "evil" and a "good" party - Jowan is pretty much the perfect character for that purpose, and it's a shame that Bioware didn't have the time or perhaps the inclination to make him recruitable.
