A (fully clad) desire demon with a special talent tree that has blood magic and some mage spells in it. That might make your party a bit more interesting, as I can't see anyone in the entire game liking that character.

Lets have more NPCs full stop. Elf/dwarf female two-hander (or perhaps dual-wielder, since I don't think there's any warrior DW NPCs as it is at present but we have two two-hander warriors, hell probably better if she was a sword and board one too) psycho and male bookish mage apprentice, perhaps comes with Wynne and could be either human or elven. Then we need a less metrosexual rogue, like Daveth, followed by another mage and rogue just to bring the numbers up more to be more comparable to the numbers of warriors, but we'll still need more warriors as we should also increase the number of active members in the party too to about six. More sword and board warriors too of course. So the average party could have three warriors, one rogue and a couple of mages, with variations due to play style such as more rogues and less warriors or mages for example.

Agree?

Actually, recruiting a certain possessed child in a certain place would be interesting... (Kitty).

Jowan would be a good additon but I remember hearing a rumour that hew as intended to be recruitable, afterall you have a perfect to use the grey warden right of conscription at the moment after x character has been awoken and he is deciding Jowans fate.

Personally I have allways wanted to see a break from the female character stereotypes.
As an example a heavy armour wearing princess who uses a battle axe to cleave up enemies, when not causing mayhem she could be found in the local tavern/pub outdrinking the men while at the same time making them cringe due to the severity of her vulgar language and threatening mannerisms.
After all it's gauranteed comedy.

Or perhaps Minsc and Boo could play the role of cameos after all it would be great to see that pair again:lol:

I fully endorse this proposal and will push for it's inclusion.

Minsc and Boo for KING!

A female version of Oghren would be funny.

Don't we get a new companion with the Return to Ostagar DLC ? I'd like an undead Duncan please.

A variety of desires it looks like. I don't think the problem of new races and classes overwriting 2da files as opposed to new mda files has been solved (yet?), though there is currently a new cleric class. I asked because I am working on a new origin story witheither human commoner or Qun (if possible) and will have at least one new companion.
The new companion is what I'm starting off with and will at first be working on dlg with other companions not Hero so much. I think I'll stick with human female thief. Will have to decide between psychotic melee type or neutral thief/stealth/pfilering type weak on fighting. One  would start in Lothering on first visit the other in first party camp.
Thanks for responses;)

Reasonable Request: Female Qunari Warrior, with a preference for tanking talents, or Rogue.

Outlandish Request: Some kind of demon, abomination, or otherwise spirit-possessed being.

I would have to say out of all the character races we have so far seen in the CRPG (Wouldn't mind getting the PnP books alone to help with ideas since there are no doubt other racial types we could choose from if we knew they were there).

I wouldn't mind actually seeing a chasind wilder brought into play as a follower. Maybe a shaman type for healing purposes. Being a wilder type, I would no doubt think of it as being a mixture of good/evil type of RP with a little bit of a nomadic personality.

Another one that I think could be an interesting companion would be something along the lines an insane dwarf you could come across.

I agree on both counts. Sten is a very poor tank (I think)  unless you go in toolset and change his stats. There are some modders who are very good at textures and models so may be a qunari  female is at work as we speak!
But being a qun would she have a 44 inch chest with a B cup?!

Also, didn't the Qunari refuse to allow females to become warriors of any sort? I just loved Sten's incredulity when I told him that I was a woman and I was fighting; "One of the two cannot be true. >.>"

A healer is a good consideration in this game since a lot can be done before Wynne. Perhaps a brief interlude in1st Wilds when retrieving blood vials and then join at 1st party camp (I followed you from that witches hut, etc...).

There certainly would have to be background, perhaps fleeing an arrranged marriage at fifteen and having to learn to steal/fight? Perhaps meet at ambush, one of Marjolaine's mercanaries , (...impressed with your groups fighting abilities ...(join).

A psychotic thief would get along with him great. Morrigan and Zevran fairly well.

Why am I now getting the elanee vibe from that one LOL

Actually thats workable .. or a stragler thats leaving the wilds and bumps into the group after leaving the hut. That one could be interesting. Start off with the distrust of wilders and the "civilized" folk maybe a short battle scene thats brought into an uneasy truce, which could result in some of the games stereotypical conversations and approval adjustments to further the distrust feel.

To balance out the choices: Male Mage (not Jowan, he's an arse...perhaps an elf. I kind of like Darkened Dragon's idea of a Chasind shaman too, however. Romanceable) Female Warrior (Romanceable, Qunari might be bad, you'd feel and possibly look like an ogre punched you several times after bedding her. Ouch.) Female Dwarf (rogue maybe, as warriors make up half of your companions, Romanceable.)

I like the idea of companions that could have a male or female version depending on the PCs gender or maybe for flavor two companions that are truly lesbian/gay and not swingers like Leli and Zev.

Justy did a goodle search for elanee. I never played NWN, loved BGII/TOB/Weidu stuff. I guess it's hard to come up with completely new idea's.

Being Chasind they probably know a lot about plants and the like. A little herbal indulgence along with some primal behavior...I like it! Posted Image

Or, you might get a scene such as the one in Apocalypto where the old knowledgeable warrior gives the youngin that special plant to put on his thinger and not knowing any better he does. Gives a new insight on "Feel the burn!"

If Hero is an elven male he'd better have big hands and feet or it would be one night only.
