Ghost Writer

Captain Planet

G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero

Power Rangers

Denver, the Last Dinosaur

Rugrats

X-Men: The Animated Series

Animaniacs

Looney Tunes

Haha, man, I never realized how much TV I used to watch as a kid. There's probably more to add to that list too.

Beverly Hills Teens

Looking back on it now, I think that show was actually pretty awful in all its celebration of self-centeredness and materialism, but still there's no denying the catchiness of the theme song.

My favourite old show would be Super Sentai.  I got dragged into the show when I was 10 and Gosei Sentai Dairanger was the active Sentai team.

That was season 17 of the franchise, and it's still going.  The're currently showing season 33, Samurai Sentai Shinkenger.  I still watch the show religiously and these days I'm even writing some of the show's soundtrack.

Do the Mario!

Swing your arms from side to side,

Come on it's time to go! Do the Mario,

Take one step, and then again.

Do the MARIO!

Cartoons:
Danger Mouse
Schoolhouse Rock
Robotech
Thundarr the Barbarian
Dungeons & Dragons
Godzilla
Starblazers

More recent cartoons:
The Gummie Bears ("Okay Dukey.")

Other:
The Muppet Show
Fraggle Rock

I choose not to revisit any of these so I can keep my memories of them being awesome.

LOL  You may be the 1st person I've met to considered McGuyver a "kid's" show...  Is it like Mr. Wizard for the next generation or something? Image IPB

@CaptainProphesy: I love Nietzsche! Thus Spoke Zarathustra and The Antichrist are two of my favorite books. Poor guy is always taken out of context and misunderstood though.

@MrHimuraChan: Yep, Mr. Wizard for Terrorist Toddlers. LOL It was a pretty good show though.

Batman: TAS, and pretty much every other DC Animated Universe cartoon with the exception of Static Shock. They still stand up as legitimately good shows when I watch them as an adult too. Bruce Timm is basically a genius.

Also, in modern cartoons, The new Spectacular Spiderman series is excellent.

As a kid, I always watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the Godzilla cartoon, and Scooby-Doo.

(Yeah, okay, I'm 47, I was watching cartoons in the 70s lol! Then again in the late 80s and early 90s with my son)

"Aww, Cavey..."
"Unga-bunga, me like cartoons.  Heee heee hee hee heee!"

Super Globetrotters?  How about the Impossibles?  Or The Robonic Stooges?

Good stuff!
