What do any of you "non-promoters" think of people who do promote?

Just curious as to what people who don't promote think of people who do. It seems like the popular opinion is people who promote are basement dwellers forever obsessing over their e-peen who never shower and drink their own urine to survive. Or something like that.
Don't be afraid to be honest.
I am a non promoter. I think that people who do promote are... people who do promote.
Honest.

I also hate the game telling me how to play so I stopped promoting.
Promoting or not I just want a reliable teammate who knows he needs a cyclonic for that level 1 in platinum, doesn't leech xp, ect.

Honestly, though, you should always promote once a week when the new character comes out. With all the 250k character cards you're getting you'll be level 17 soon enough without ever having to play that class at a low level.
I do think promotion needs more of a reward, and have suggested that you receive free respec cards, or a nice consumable packs for doing so. The N7 banner is nice, but there is no point in earning it over and over. Challenge points are as meaningless as N7 score.

I maxed out my respec cards while I was buying Veteran packs to max out my uncommon weapons and characters. I have never spent any of them, as I found getting them instead of gun upgrades so irritating.

I only promote to respec
So when I see players with outageous N7 scores who obviously did more than promote for respec, I think...Honestly nothing. They might have fun restarting with fresh characters wielding big guns or whatever, i's their story/life/fun, I don't feel the need to resort to biaised judgements.
Of course if it happens they are very bad players, I might ponder for like at least 10 seconds...After all it's Internet and all.

Remember when they added banners? Who's to say that they won't add something later in ME3 or the series that your N7 rating affects? Maybe then you'll wish you would have promoted. One thing is for sure: there's no harm in promoting.
Also, the high-N7 folks probably die often because they aren't Level 20.

Em...nothing.
It´s completely irrelevant to me.

Before it was kinda meaningless, I did it because I was xxxxing tired of getting characer cards again & again.
For those who continuously promote their characters, obviously that`s how they enjoy the game. There is nothing for me to think about them or for them.

I think once you've unlocked all the characters, then ranks need to be increased by how many games you've played...etc....and while it may not represent skill, it will give folks an idea of how long you've been playing and how much experience you have.

When I see a very high N7 ranking I think it's somewhat funny that they can get the best ending in the game without even trying, assuming that is that they even play single player. Other than that it is only a possible indication of how long you have played multiplayer

I recently just finished the N7 Promotions Mastery and I absolutely hate promoting and playing low level characters. The progression to level 20 isn't very fun. I'll waste a mil looking for respec cards before I decide to promote a character just to respec them.
So people who promote? Maybe they have a goal they're trying to reach or they like playing with low level characters with unevolved skills. Frankly, I don't care, just better not suck.

Honestly, I'm a SP completionist. My MP rank/promotions are done for the sake of MP, as I know in SP I'll be doing all the missions and quests regardless of the impact on my war assets.sentinel_87 wrote...

Same here. For me it just helps to make the war assets I do have more "meaningful", since you never see them do anything in game.
