Allied forces are granted aid in the forms of Heavy MG's and allied artillery support as means of ensuring the supply line stays open to friendly forces. To maintain their aid however they must protect four key devices, while they're not vital to the mission they will be of help. Once the devices are down however, there is no bringing them back online.

H.M.S - Heavy munition stockpile - N7's use the heavy munitions stockpile to restore the heavy machinegun ammo once it needs its out of ammo. However if the H.M.S is destroyed the N7's will lose use of the heavy MG once its out of ammo again.
E.M.D - Emergency Medical Drone - A medical drone that is programmed to perform some of the most life saving technical procedures. The E.M.D is able to bring a soldier back from some of the most devistating trama or blood loss that can be imagined.

-How to use-
Artillery: Players must simply make their way to the A.T.S.S and simply initiate the range system scans to rain death upon the enemy. The A.T.S.S though can only be used once every three minutes
Heavy MG: Players must resupply the 300 round heavy MG by visiting the H.M.S and carry a ammunition pack back to the MG to reload it.

Defiance Goal: Hold the supply line for 20 minutes for allied reinforcements to show up.

Liberty line - Defiance Mode - A critical supply line used by alliance and civilian forces has recently come under heavy attack in New York. Civilians cling to the ruins as a way to both supply resistance forces, but also to show a defiant presence in the ruin city. N7 special ops teams are being requested to aid in holding this vital position out of enemy hands.

Stronghold line - Defiance mode - Krogan on Tuchanka fight to ensure a vital stretch of tuchanka land remains in their hands. Krogan resistance are ready to fight those who dare step foot on tuchanka and the krogan requested the N7 special ops teams to be of aid in doing so.

I hope everyone likes "Defiance" DLC 2.0 and if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to post them. I have started converting my old 3D models for the firebases as we speak but the "Defiance" maps will actually be the first maps I release.

All I ask is that people keep things constructive.

Thank you very much. I am currently in the process of small detail work for 'Stronghold line'. All feed back is welcomed, praises and constructive discontent. But thank you very much for your words!

I really like the characters you came up with but i dont think bioware is going to be making a new enemy faction any time soon. Great post though

Thanks and its very possible they won't, but its also very possible none of these ideas would be used (except maybe the weapons but thats only because bioware already put them in SP.) So Ultimately its a unknown across most of the board. But thank you though for the kind words.

Renamed the Ex-Cerberus Ghost to Ex-Cerberus Shade. Not too many names that could replace 'Ghost'. There was Shade, Wraith, Shadow, and others. Wraith is already taken in my idea, Shadow is already taken in the game, and all the other stuff seemed too 'fantasy' setting prefered than sci-fi. I may look into a new name for the 'Turian Wraith' but we will see when I finally approach that bridge.

I like all these ideas as they don't try to be epic with protheans, Ardat-Yakshi, or "asari with dominate that's totally not Ardat-Yakshi, because bonus power".

Good work, OP! :)

Edit: Heh, just noticed it's you, Dun. I usually don't look at usernames when on here.

This is great, and looks very organized. Not sure about having 12 characters, though. Usually it comes down to quality vs quantity when it comes to characters.

An analysis of powers:

I recommend restating some evolutions. Example:
Arc Surge: Level 3 - Cooldown 3.30 seconds.

This would imply that the evolution changes the cooldown to a flat 3.30 second value, which would completely ignore weapon weight and other cooldown and passive bonuses. I would restate this evolution to "increase recharge speed by 20%", which takes a percentage of the base (level 1) power and adds it on as a bonus. This reduces confusion and goes along with Bioware's system of power evolutions. Same goes for various other evolutions, unless the evolution adds a completely new stat like damage over time effect.

Biotic Repulse
Does the shield drop after four melee hits, or just four hits from any source? Can this prime or detonate biotic effects?

Cabal Fury
I'm not sure how this works. Does it release multiple projectiles? Do the projectiles home onto enemies? Whats the maximum amount of projectiles? Can this prime or detonate biotic effects?

Destroyer Drone
What is the damage over time effect, and when does it apply to enemies?

Flashbang Grenade
As this is a pure crowd control grenade, I recommend increasing the base radius from 3 meters to 5 meters. Also, how does this grenade affect different types of enemies? Shielded? Armored? Boss enemies?

Intervention Explosives
Feels underpowered, as current grenades have higher base damage values and a significantly wide radius. I compare this power to grenades because both types of powers are limited by a consumable supply. Buff the base damage to at least 900 (as strong as Frag Grenades) and increase the radius. Also, how are the explosives deployed? Is it thrown like traditional grenades, launched like Recon/Proximity Mines, or deployed like Supply Pylons?

STG Leadership
Again, feels somewhat underpowered until max level. Not sure how to buff.

Basically, the power concepts are good, but the stats could use some changing. The big issue I find is that your powers only meet their potential utility at high or max levels, as only then do the powers have decent perks and damage output. The ratio between level 1 damage/utility and level 6 is too extreme, perhaps reduce some of the evolutions but buff the base/level 1 power.

But then again, these are just my opinions. Don't change them simply because I said so. Also, one unfortunate thing to note is that MP ideas in the Fan Creations forum don't get much views compared to the MP forum, for obvious reasons. Though the MP forum is also lightning fast, which means threads get buried quickly.

Anyway, any plans for updates?

Thanks, I do try to keep my ideas organized and easy to read. My aim for the characters was to make each one have some quality to it. I will admit a few seemed to of got a little more tailored treatment, may be something for me to fix later on. But I understand the whole "quality vs. quantity" and I did try to ensure each one had quality to it I promise.

i went through and revisited all these powers again, I believe I improved upon them but this will be determined by the community. What looks right to me, may not look right to others or I may of missed something and didn't notice. I'm thankful though that you brought them up and in a constructive way, I should of gone by percentage instead of flat numbers like I had, but I'm human after all lol. I would ultimately leave any balance of powers to Bioware, I am by no means a pro at this lol. I did though try to keep the powers at a level where they were not OP as I feel its easier to buff a power than it is to debuff a power.

Its true that "Defiance" won't get as much attention here as it would in the multiplayer section, but the slower speed does allow more people time to see the post. I -may- in the future even give it a fair run in the MP section to see how it goes over. I do also plan to post my custom works in here outside of text, so thats part of the reason I also posted here in the fan creation.

I will update "Defiance" as I can with updated text work, posting picture links of the firebases, and much more. Maybe even in the future I will have my own "Support Defiance for multiplayer" signature banner lol. For now though I am happy that "Defiance" is getting attention (even if a small bit) and I'm thankful for your constructive help.

Thanks Soja57!

Lol way to go Gis. Thats okay, took me a little to spot you also. So hats off to both of us lol.

Back to finishing touches on "Liberty line" for Defiance mode. Sadly had to restart "Stronghold line" as it just didn't look right, may pick it up after I do "Matriarch line"

If I see another non-biotic sentinel added to the game I will claw my eyes out. Please give that Quarian barrier or some biotic variant to ED that does the same thing or something like that.

The Turian Vanguard could use something to set it apart from the novaguard, I suggest putting Reave on it instead of nova.

The explosive drone just seems like a slow grenade. A heavy turret, FENRIS mech or a heavily improved combat drone would fit a Krogan better.

This isn't to say I dislike the idea. Don't get me wrong, I like the concept of the new game mode and I admire the work you put into it, along with the concept of fighting enemies that may look just like your teammates, witch fits with the horror of the Reapers perfectly. Other than what I listed, I really like what you have here.

I looked back on the pure tech sentinels and yeah I saw where you were coming from. I looked up the biotic powers and while I was looking over them I got thinking about it. Quarian Biotics are rare and thats due to the fact that any exposure to Eezo may very well mean that their ship has or is about to blow up. However being that they're rare and not just purely non-exsistant, I figured I would find another solution over an advanced biotic ability. Barrier and Tech armor  also seemed a bit like overkill to me, so to honor that quarian biotics are rare I gave the Quarian avenger cluster grenades. After looking over cluster grenades, not many classes were using this ability. I figured a deadly partnership with Arc surge and those grenades could be had.

Gave the Turian Wraith, Reave. Not many classes were using this power and a little extra defense could never hurt anything. She would still be playing in the hands of high risk, high reward field of things. Not to mention she would at least have some more range tactics to her, making her a slightly more defensive kind of vanguard.

While you do bring up a very good point on it being a "slow grenade" in a way, the user doesn't need to worry about how they throw it. They simply target the enemy and the drone heads straight for it, detonates once in range, and then leaves behind a damage over time effect on those it hit but didn't kill. You can say its actually a larger version of the homing grenade. I did some rewording  though of the ability to make it more clear, so that is a fault on my part in regards to it being viewed as a grenade in a sense. Good thing though is that you don't need to run to the ammo crate for this baby.

Thank you for the kind words and while I doubt any of these things would be used, I do believe the voice of the community provides the best direction. Not always, but a good bit of the time. Im doing my best to ensure that characters are not viewed as overpowered, however my changes to the quarian avenger -might- be seen differently than intended in the overpowered regard. We will see though when we near that bridge.

Thank you for your help, Volc19

Dude you have some nice ideas but I honestly don't think this should be a ME3 MP idea. If they're gonna do something like this it should be for a game which people care about...

I haven't played ME3 in about 2 months, and even when I was playing it wasn't as much as some people. And I'm still, to this day, top 3% N7 rating and top 15% for the points. This just shows than no one cares lol.

Plus, gameplay is really really really bad for ME3's MP. Servers suck. Unlocks are hard to come by and aren't too significant after you've played awhile...idk.

Just wait for the next game for something like this.

I will see if I can figure out something for asari, but I may need to cover ground with another race as well in the process. Most likely Drell.

While I doubt any of my ideas will be used by bioware, I still find it fun to make them. Heck if even one of bit of this gets used I will fall over in shock.

I do care though about the MP to ME3 and I respect that you differ in opinion which is fine. If Bioware does use this though I will give myself a pat on the back after I recover from shock lol. I will be posting ideas most likely in Mass effect 4 as well, for now though I will focus on ME3.
