I was on a BIS server Black berry which had 110kb up and down even tho it was in a 4G area but our BIS service only ran on the edge networks

now I have Sattelite which is good, but it's a little glitchy in MP with some hosts due to the lag delay sats have

works fine with solo maps lol
I was going to get a 4G cell to game with but it was too much money for so little GB, at least with the 4G sat I get 20 times the usage p/month
this is what happens when you live out in the country

Don't worry, we get the same thing with you lot hosting too. Ping from AUS > UK  and vice versa has nothing to do with the wiring, trust me.... its because the signal has to be sent through the centre of the earth, straight through the core so it can reach the other side.

The magma adds +200ms of latency.

I can switch between 2, but what's strange i prefere to play on that worse , slowest one, cos on faster sometimes i feel like i'm faster to be killed, or with fury my af has 1 sec delay before enemies goes "blue", tryed many times,
it cant be just my imagination (or i'm really unlucky with hosts...)

You just need to live in London. Cities in the UK (particularly London, Glasgow etc) have really great internet. He also might already have fibre optic wiring installed, as the UK was trying to roll out fibre optic broadband.

Yep I am in Reading fibre optic BT infinity, also there aren't that many people on the fibre box so I not too much traffic where my connection is routed.

As for cost I paid the line rental up front (something like £100 for the year) and then £20 a month
