Wow! Great job with the retexture. I'm telling you, I would have loved the crap out of that Ajax armor if it were rockin' some alliance colors. Or anything not Cerberus.

It looks great, but I can't help but notice the N7 logo is on the left, while N7 on *any* armor, everywhere, as well as all N7 merch, the N7 logo is, and should be, on the right.
Other than that, great job!

I love that you're doing this, This by far is the coolest looking armor in the game and the fact they painted it in Cerberus colors ticks me off.

Someone handled it much better than me!

There are also directions to get it without the helmet!

Wish I wasn't stuck with the Cerberus logos and color scheme, but alas, I've played all ME games on the 360. The likelihood of Bioware actually giving us customization options for more than just the individual armor pieces seems to be nonexistent. If we're going to be required to fork over money for extra appearance options, the least that could be done is to give us the ability to customize them.

Could you post a download link for your texture? If you don't mind I was gonna see how much work it would be to retexture Smarteck's Ajax reskin to look like yours, but high-res
Edit: for personal use of course!

Remember to remove the relief from all the channels. If you are using CS5 or another version of photo shop just click the channels tab beside the layers tab.
I worked in RGB which means that all channels were affected at once. There was nothing in the Alpha channel so Im pretty sure its either in a normal or gloss map. I'll continue playing with it though.
My 5 cents, when you edit the specmap, don't work in RGB and change all channels at the same time.
This messes with the way your armor will look in the engine under certain lighting situations. While you may permit yourself this in small scale, it's ill-advised to do on larger surfaces.
Personally I never do it, but you're not the first one to say this. I've seen this go sour for otherwise decent texmods in the past, and I personally pass for ones that RGB the specmap. It does infact, matter.
Having said all that, I don't mean to rain on your parade, and do ofcourse appreciate the effort you've stuck into it. If you plan to undertake something like this again, that's the advise I'd give you =)
