Posting it here because I don't see anywhere else to post it. I had trouble connecting to Origin while running Comodo Internet Security. After playing around with it I discovered I can connect if I disable Antivirus but leave Firewall and Defense+ enabled. I'm guessing the hueristics were set too high.

Ya that can happen with a lot of Anti-Virus/firewall programs when you are dealing with software that has an online copmonent.  Just need to make an exception for the software in the Firewall and everything should be fine.
