The ideal weapons on a TGI are high-damage assault rifles, so you're looking at the Saber or Harrier.

His Stim packs and Tact cloak make him unbreakable
And if you put AR damage on Tact cloak 6 and using a Harrier he is the destroyer of all worlds

Cloak specced for Duration/Recharge/Assault Rifle Damage (its even nastier if you go Damage over Duration)
Stimpacks specced for Damage/Duration/Weapon Damage
Overload specced for Damage/Neural Shock/Chain (will do more against bosses with Shield Damage though)
Armiger Legion specced for Weapon Damage/Power Damage/Weapon Damage (you might be better with more headshot damage over power damage though)
It seems to be the popular thing, especially with the Cerberus Harrier.

On topic: Apparently the combination of Tactical Cloak, The Stimulant Packs and Overload + his mobility is an "overpowered" set. Overload for its incredible crowd control, Tactical Cloak because it boosts damage output, and because the StimPacks restore his shields, and increases his max shields to like 4000 at max for like 9 seconds with a 12.5% damage buff. Equip him with a high leveled Cerberus Harrier, and you've got yourself an "overpowered" kit there.
My build: narida.pytalhost.com/me3/classes/#Infiltrator/TurianGhost/GLRLD/CerberusHarrier2AD5AE5////GrenadeCapacity3/

Spec cloak for AR, stims for duration and damage, stability in the passive
Now for the easy part:
Tactical Cloak -> Overload -> Stim Pack -> shoot stuff with your favourite AR (Incendiary ammo if available) -> Overload again as soon as your recharge is over to detonate your ammo -> Shoot some more.
For gear, use either a Barrage Upgrade or a whatever that adds grenades. Your stims count as grenades. You can resupply them like grenades as well. If you use the Barrage upgrade, you won't need a Stability mod on high recoil ARs, if you go for grenades instead then you might still want to use a stability mod.
Incendiary ammo would be ideal, but the other ammo types that prime for tech detonations work too.

That's impossible, she's genetically perfect.
"Nobody's perfect"
**** you Miranda stop saying that.

How so? I just unlocked it, and I have tried a couple builds with him, however I just can't figure out a good strategy with him besides using a melee build (and his melee isn't the most accurate at all). What builds seem to work best for you?
Offensively he isn't.
Defensively you have up to 7 4000 shield pops, TC and LoS break, and a gigantic rocket dodge that can be combined with melee movement.

I meant that if a TGI cannot outscore even a player as terrible as I then the kit isn't overpowered. I'll add you if I get back on tonight. If not then definitely tomorrow.

I've never been outscored by a TGI, therefore he's not OP.
The only time a TGI has outscored me is when Jay was playing it.
And that's understandable.

He's strong but not OP. He has considerably better survivability than the other infiltrators but if you want straight up damage pick a GI or SI.
The ideal weapons on a TGI are high-damage assault rifles, so you're looking at the Saber, typhoon, ppr, valkyrie or Harrier.

-only race whose rank 6 damage bonus applies to AR's and lasts 10 seconds after breaking cloak
-stim packs work with this by making it easier to deliver sustained fire

Makes it a bit of a crutch kit for some players.
