Spec cloak for AR, stims for duration and damage, stability in the passive

Now for the easy part:
Tactical Cloak -> Overload -> Stim Pack -> shoot stuff with your favourite AR (Incendiary ammo if available) -> Overload again as soon as your recharge is over to detonate your ammo -> Shoot some more.

Alternatively you can [Shoot untill ammo is applied] -> [Cloak] -> [Overload for detonation] -> [Stimpack] //Reteat.

I've done my first Gold solo with him (FB Giant, Reapers... piece of cake). Maybe I took too much consumables (Cyclonic Modulator III, Incendiary Ammo IV, Assault Rifle Amp IV and Grenade Capacity V), because Reapers couldn't kill me. Used only 1 rocket at wave 10 objective to kill... single Brute, standing next to my last device to disable :D . I could kill him with one clip of Harrier X, but didn't want to risk his friends meeting me.

But... When I play PUGs with him, I still die after taking Stim Packs, which is annoying. Also, I think time I need to take down troops is similar to my Human Soldier. He's not that overpowered off-host, especially when others take grenades from ammo crates, which are crucial to his survival.

Is it just me or does the Turian Ghost look short in-game? It looks like a midget Turian if you ask me. Really weird. He looks right in his character select screen but in-game he looks way too short to be a Turian.

OP, yes... a little...
He has amazing survavility and damage. These 2 things can't be combine to well. He is perfect, no weak points.

His Stim packs and Tact cloak make him unbreakable

And if you put AR damage on Tact cloak 6 and using a Harrier he is the destroyer of all worlds

I guess he can be called an... Eldrazi

(Okay, that's probably a terrible MtG reference. I'm just gonna get out now.)

Hes not OP but he is a very stong character like all infiltrators for the most part. Its his survival that some whine about while able to put on the damage. If you think about it, he's the most true Turian and shows how awesome their military is XD. I personally use 6/6/4/6/4. Gimme Garrus re-skin o.o and voice overs.

6/6/6/5/3, TC go for AR damage, everything else go for weapon damage, and pick a Harrier, you will know why is he "OP"

If all infiltrators are strong, imagine the Ghost.
All others have much lower survavility.

GI is amazing damage dealer. But have very clear weak point. Survavility. He is a glass canon.
After Ghost, say GI is OP is out of question.

ps: stim pack on infiltrator is OP. On the Turian Soldier, not.

Honestly the character is stupidly powerful. I dont want it nerfed because its not super fast like a drell or a geth so you can still beat them to enemies and do stuff

If it can put down reliable damage and has great survivability (when in the right hands), people tend to call it OP.
I've seen people absolutely bomb with the Ghost, and it was never a pretty sight.

You are overestimating the power of stim packs. If you share the lobby with demolishers or another grenade using class you'll find yourself fighting for dem ammo boxes. They are a panic button, but in case of emergency Murphy's law applies.

Also, the harrier is used on everything, and the TGI's AR bonus merely puts a lid on the mountain of classes that can use the harrier (From Fury to Volus, misplaced Harriers everywhere). Mainly because every Monkey can handle the weapon.

Definitely think 6/6/4/6/4 is a great build.
Taking the chain in overload allows you to take out a geth drone as well as stun him and/or general mooks.
Can never go wrong with a good old tactical overload bonus then follow up with the boosted AR damage.

The way to fix The Ghost Infiltrator is the way you fix the insane Shotgun infiltrator builds.

Have the 3 second refresh on Cloaks ONLY apply to using sniper rifles. You can still use just your power and get three seconds, but if you fire anything but a sniper rifle you get (nearly) the full cooldown TC would normally have.

I took an habit of using him when I'm running low on ops survival packs.

Am I crazy by the way for not spec'ing into stimpacks all the way? I don't use them for damage boost, simply as an survival tool. Figure I don't need the whole boost, just enough to get away from the ravager or phantom or whatever has caught me with my pants down, cloak, and recover in cover.

I'm thinking of going 36665 or 56663...

I used to just get 3 ranks of stimpacks and go 5 fitness or something, but I found lately that you can get away with 4 fitness (pros can probably do 0 fitness) and max stimpacks for damage. Those things are insanely powerful. They are like refreshable spec-ops packs that also give you a damage boost.

I ran him with only 5 in stimpacks and 3 in fitness originally.  It still works pretty well.  I am not sure that the 3 in Fitness is huge benefit though.

6/6/6/6/0 on a TGI is totally broken
insane damage output combined with insane survivability

people here saying ' he's good but i think he's not OP, i do as much damage with ...blala' are just affraid of the nerf

Actually no... I've played the TGI twice since release. I never use him and I don't think he's OP.

You're just a bad player if you think he is, because it means you let other people carry you with him, or have to use him as a crutch class because he's easy to play.

See. I can make sweeping generalisations that are probably inaccurate as well.
