Yeah may not be the most appropriate question as the D&D alignment system or even an alignment system at all does not exist in the in the Dragon Age series of games, but using the D&D alignment system as a rough guide what would you say your playstyle or main character fits under?
Personally I have always taken a more Chaotic Neutral approach but given the fact that we will most likely be playing an inquisitor I am thinking a more lawful neutral approach could be interesting.
I AM THE LAW!

It exits, you just can't see it. I think its shown by your rivalry/friendship with party members.

For my first DA:O playthrough, Chaotic Neutral, because HE DIDN'T GIVE A SH*T!
For my first DA2 playthrough, probably Chaotic Good.
I normally form who my character is as I go along, so I don't know what alignment my first DA3 antagonist would have.

"Canon" DA:O playhtrough I went for a Lawful Neutral/Good, because sometimes I just wanted to be the hero every Grey Warden should be.
DA2 playthrough: Chaotic Good/Neutral, something that could fit Snarky Hawke.

Generally, my first playthrough of almost any game would best be described as Neutral Good.

Lawful Evil whenever possible because it's so much fun.
Kill the mutant, burn the heretic, purge the unclean.

My first Warden a Dalish elf rogue woman named Vaella started out as chaotic neutral and eventually became chaotic good.
The playthrough I am currently finishing up in DA:O, a mage named Helgrim, is chaotic evil.

I tend to play some form of a neutral or chaotic character in any RPG.
My canon Warden is neutral good. I'v got several other Wardens with varying alignments though. While my only Hawke is probably chaotic good.

In most cases I tend to be Neutral Good, my characters are interested in their own well-being but won't hesitate to stick their neck out to help out the little guy - in DA2 though I tended a little more toward Chaotic Good, but not incredibly so.

Anyone looking at my characters would probably perceive them as Lawful Good, but to me they're more True Neutral--they're not trying to obey the law or be "good", it's just they don't see violence or hateful behavior as expedient in the long-term.
I suppose that'd be People Not Coming After Me For Revenge And If They Do They'll Be Buried Under My Heaps Of Fervent Admirers Alignment.

DA:O
City Elf: Lawful Neutral
Dwarf Commoner: Lawful Good (yes, even though she had to do some less-than-reputable things in the origin)
Circle Mage: Neutral Evil
Dalish Elf: Chaotic Evil
Female Human Noble: Lawful Evil
Male Human Noble: Chaotic Neutral
Dwarf Noble: True Neutral
DA:2
Warrior Hawke: Lawful Neutral
Mage Hawke: Neutral Evil
Male Rogue Hawke: Lawful Good
Female Rogue Hawke: True Neutral
I don't know about alignments for DA:I, yet.
I've made a colour code, 'coz I can (=P): LG, NG, CG, LN, TN, CN, LE, NE, CE.
You can use it if you want.

Variations of Neutral and Evil characters, mostly. True Neutral deserving a special mention due to frequency.

Lawful Good, for when I feel fluffy and wanna show love to everyone.
Chaotic Neutral, (This is my own real alignment as well, until sth specific happens.) for most of the times, when I play a Bloodmage.
Chaotic Evil, now, this is a thing of beauty and awesomeness. I play this way when I'm pissed off.
And I don't play a fixed alignment, sometimes I choose evil and good options if I think that it turns out better with the necessary evil or good or it has more benefits for me.
The sarcastic personality was exactly what I wanted with some diplomatic and aggressive choices.

My first playthrough is always a Mage who is Neutral Good, but who's view of 'Good' can be slightly biased towards knowledge and learning than always saving puppies.

personally, i always thought alignment was the singular stupidest and most limiting thing in any game i ever picked up dice for. it not only interrupts the flow, but prevented my characters from evolving in a way that felt natural. i'd rather not be painted into the chaotic good corner (or any others) if it can be avoided.
