I have changed the 2da line of numbers for quivering palm to 3 uses per day instead of the mean 1 given and saved it in my module ( I was feeling particularly brave and fearless ). Now it comes up as three uses when you get the feat in game which is just what I wanted so no complaints there but is that all I have to do ?

Or..

Do I have to save it in a hak/override ?
Do I have to save it in every module of the campaign ( it might already have done this I haven't checked ).
Do you save the whole 2da list for feats ?
Do you save just the one line and stick it in the hak/override.

Thank you..

Override folder = always active what ever you are playng.

Module folder = only active the module you are playing.
Campaign folder = active on all the module of the campaign

For specific 2DA I prefer put them in a hak and link it to every module of the campaign.

Thank you, how do I go about exporting the one line into an override for sticking into a hak later when I've finished the campaign ? Or is it already linked if I just change it in every module ?

Link the same hak with your 2DA to all your modules.

I know how to link the hak to the module and make a hak pack but how do I export the one line I changed into the override for hak conversion later ? Can I just stick it in the campaign folder instead once I've removed it ?

You can't have a single line of your 2da hanging out by itself. You override the entire 2da. If it's just different on one line, so be it.

This unfortunately makes it necessary to merge 2da's if you're using other custom content that overrides different lines in the same 2da.

Thank you, so will it work and be saved if I just change it in every module of the campaign all I'm doing is changing a 1 to a 3 ?

You only have to make the change to the 2DA once. If you're using the 2DA plugin in the toolset, then as soon as you modify and save it you will have a new copy of the entire 2DA sitting in your override folder.

You can either put that 2DA in your campaign folder, or put it into a HAK and associate it with every module in the campaign. The former is more convenient for a campaign, the latter is necessary for a single module.

Excellent I just checked in my override and there it is, a feat 2da that will be heading into the campaign folder when I'm making a hak etc. I was trying to use the export function but couldn't find 2das and it had been exported all the time !

Thank you I can stop thinking about it now and my journey into the world of 2da's is now complete and unlikely to be repeated.
