So i bought the new "Mass Effect 3 - Arsenal Pack (Game Pack)" from the ME3 store (via PSN) for £2.39, and it unlocked nothing.

Normally the UK Goods & Sales Act ( www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1979/54 ) would be stong here, as the product is
"Not fit for purpose", but then the desrciption is so vauge, maybe it has done something in the background?

I could consider it a donation to Bioware, fair enough, but i was expecting something...

Bioware:  just what should this do?

BSN users:  do not buy this until it's fixed.

Did you already have the collector's edition? Arsenal pack is the crusader/eagle/hurricane/valiant and was bundled with collector's editions.

If the pictures to the right are any indication (Blood Pack Punisher (?), Cerberus Harrier, Adas Anti-Synthetic Rifle), it's the Firefight Pack.

A quick google search found that it is something to do with the Collectors Edition to get the N7 weapons, supposed to give u a DLC code. Maybe they will mail u a code? Otherwise, yah, a scam.

Bioware mentioned a while ago that they added a bunch of MP packs to the PSN and Xbox Live. Just so they're there if they decide they want to add a new pack later.

Sony seems to have a history of screwing up and posting these packs that don't actually do anything, because they aren't meant to be purchasable. I imagine that this is one of those packs, and it's not supposed to have been posted on the PSN.

No idea what Sony's rules are on this.

That's a different picture and yeah, it's the firefight pack. Notice the one he's got selected it the normal ME3 loading screen, which is the arsenal pack, which gives you the N7 weapons in the single player.

While BW do screw a lot of stuff up, this one is squarely in Stinja's court.

No i bought the super-cheapo edition.

As for the packs, here's a screen shot showing all three new packs.  It's highlighted on the Equipment Pack, but theyre all there top left:
