You don't like the Warhammer 40k universe?

And thus, the name of the most boring faction in the entire setting was used five times in a row.

Every game crosses the boundary between fantasy and sci-fi.

Whenever he'll say "I think it's the lyrium in the water." no-one will understand a thing, unless they're Earthborn.

Imagine having the protag discussing some battle strategy or some such with a few major NPCs, and in the background among the troops you see one guy with Vanderloo's face, wearing black armor with a red stripe down the right sleeve, gearing up for the coming fight.
Just a brief shot, none of the major NPCs in the foreground even acknowledging it.

We dont yell that in the Guard. Its more screams of death and "for the emperor" while the commisars and shoooting at us if we are not moving fast enough.

To a smaller extent I'd love to have something where I save some shepherds and when you talk to them its Mark Meer and Jen Hale.
As to the OP's idea... no.

But a easter egg or reference, why not?
Imagine that:
"In a banter between our companions:
companion 1: Have I ever told you how I am good figurating other people?
companion 2: No.
C1: Ohhh, my shoes are so ugly!!! (with a feminine voice)
C2: hahaha, empress celene!
C1: In war, victory; in peace, vigilance; in death, sacrifice. (with a very serious voice but making fun)
C2: Those Grey wardens are so creepy.
C1: This gun needs calibrations... (with Garrus voice (maybe with Garrus voice actor))
C2: What?
C1: What?
PC: WTF was that?
C1: I don't know what you are talking about...

So how do you feel about

That's a mix of the two if ever I saw one.

Doctor Who is the name of the series. The Doctor is the name of the main character.

Shepard's face and gender would make it unlikely. Hopefully, we would never see it happen.
