I'll explain

-Explosive is good as it is also staggering and hits many targets in a small meter radius
-Upon hit it applies the ammo power over and over again massively
-This is exactly like the sticky grenade power in "use" as it acts as a proxy timed mine if you miss
-This weapon is 100% goes where you shoot
-It auto ignores armor (Due to it's projectile status not Hit Scan so some mods are useless on it)
-TC with it you fire the shots off then cloak if you want to TC with it (it's hard)
-It is pretty light as it levels
-You can nail head shots with it for some bonus effectiveness if I recall

Do not stick accuracy mod unless you feel a scope is fine for zoom, do not stick a pierce mod at all, extra shot mod and bonus damage are the key mods you want the gun

For guardians shoot the shots at the feet or their hand that pop out from behind the shield for ravengers it roasts their "sacks" and their swarmers due to the proxy effect you can fire at the ground and trick foes to run into it to cause blast staggering them, so you have two uses Proxy mode (not on a foe) and sticky mode (which appleis the ammo effect upon the stick which also causes stagger as it's a carbon copy of the sticky grenade power in a gun with the proximity mine effect on it

It's a versatile gun and is very handy also cause of the sticky effect it can even cause a stagger there when shields are up on a foe so it's a fairly decent gun worthy of it's UR title due to flexibility
