Also, what is there more to talk about? If you played ME1 and ME2, you pretty much know the story for species and crewmates by now. The clock was ticking, earth and the galaxy had to be saved. Do you think Shepard had time to sit there and know every crew mates story all over again? ME3 was about the end and it's story and dialogue needed to be focused on that.

What a pathetic excuse for EAWare's greed and lazyness.

That's my excuse/reasoning, not thiers. I was worried when the demo was released and it asked me if I wanted to select a version of the game (dialouge options or not). But then I actaully played the game and I was surprised that there was a pretty good amount of dialogue sections with options even though it was more cinematic.

How do those ruin the game for people. It's not like Bio gave you less squadmate conversations when they added those one -liners

.... you did know that, right?

Look OP, you do have a constructive opinion, but forum posting about this now and espeicially right before another single player DLC is released is a wasted effort. You would argue the damage is done, and it has according to your synopsis. So this goes out to you and everbody else who still want to forum post about ME3.

Have a nice day guys.

Yeah, ticking clock in video game is precisly the reason for that. This is also the reason that Shepard was flying all over the galaxy fetching statues and flags after listening to random people on Citadel .
Not due to tight schedule , budget problems and SWTOR eating all the available resources.

You are making excuses for them? I hope you are at least paid :D

I just stating the obvious - this was pathetic excuse. It makes no sense. You know, travel between systems take a lot more time than short(or long for that matter) discussions with squad.
When you are defending EAWare garbage which is ME3, at least make up some plausible excuses first. :wizard:

This is a bit silly. The fetch quests are ME3's replacement for the mineral scanning of the previous games. Well, except for the items you find during missions, but that type of quest happened in ME2 as well. More resources wouldn't change that.

Unless you're saying that ME3 is a lot shorter than ME2 or ME1, but I've never seen evidence of that. Well, maybe ME1 if you do a lot of the time-wasting crap.

In theory you could skip helping the turians, quarians, geth, salarians. krogan, and just go from mars to the asari homeworld to talk to the prothean VI, then go chronos station, do the crucible and get your R,G, B ending.

Seriously.  Just think about what you actually accomplish by doing those parts of the game.  You gain "war assets" which you dont actually need since you can just do other things and MP.  Sure you solve other races problems - but that doesnt really affect anything other than your speculations.

So the whole "shepard is on a time crunch" doesnt really work as an argument.

This is my last post on these boards. I want to send the last message. Bioware and EA screwed up potentially the most successful of their games. Everything was prepared for greatness at two previous games. However, they chose to run it into the ground.

I have a lot of problems with this game. They can be put into three categories - restricting, major flaws and minor flaws.

Restricting which make game REALLY unplayable:

1. Auto-dialogue and streamlined Shepard
2. Glowboy and everything about ending

Major flawes which are greatly responsible for my hate towards the game:

3. Crucible plot
4. No exploration
5. No ME2 crew
6. Almost no side-missions (fetch quests)
7. Beginning to the point of being almost unplayable with even worse writing than ending
8. Very limited ability to interact with crewmembers
9. Cerberus bastardization

Minor flaws which are bad, but tolerable:

10. Journal
11. Kelly Chambers treatment
12. Tali's face
13. Too much focus on Liara
14. Romances are less engaging

Game is bad, those who made it what it is should feel bad and should know they will never get my money.

Also, EC is very bad, compared to original ending being horrible. Those who say that EC "fixed" something are deluding themselves, from 1/10 to 3/10 is surely improvement, but not much.

Everyone who knows this have already left forums. Only fanboys stay here to lick Bioware ego in hope they will get discount.

i agree with everything up until the last 5 lines of your post.

really, "lick bioware ego in hope they will get a discount" how old are you? 5? , some of us .....well most of us dont stay here to do that or act like children like you, we still enjoy a majority of mass effect series content and ignore the problems because well its done now, we cant really change that although we tried, but for the most part we mostly agreed it was a good game up until the last 5 minutes + most of the stuff you listed. Raging and arguing got us nowhere so why bother?

im glad you think your special btw coming up with such a childish insult, to flame half of us here but your not you are just a child, a teenager probably with barely half a brain, oh well what a waste.

anywho, as for the EC, it fixed certain things like elaboration on what actually happened in the end, it wasnt intended to "fix" anything, anyone with a brain knows that, sadly you dont?, but yeah it was better that the original, doesnt change the fact that it was awful way to end the game but the EC is still better.

and FYI im glad your gone, we dont need your crap here. :) hf flaming on some other forum.

that is just pathetic.

He likely thrives for attention, probably because he was not given proper attention as a child and now searches for recognition from strangers on the internet so he does not feel like a failure

I agree, I hate it too, the ending, the squadmate selection, limited diologue with squadmates, half baked rpg elements, animations on the characters looked worse then me2, choices that didn't matter, side quests that were worthless, on-disc dlc, the game went backwards in all areas and felt like they didn't get around to finishing it. I shelled out the money for the collector's edition, so im gonna gripe about it whether people like it or not.

Besides the fact that my romance with Jack was "meh" at least and the Tali's Face and the stupid fetch quests, I don't really care about the plot holes or the Crucible.

Good riddance.

I get that ME3 wasn't what you expected, it disappointed, blah blah and so on but in all seriousness, move on with your life. At the end of the day, it's a game. Nothing more and nothing less. Go see a therapist if it's causing you this much turmoil.

Just curious if you take a positive attitude, and try to find the good points around you, how happy will you be ?

There's no accounting for taste. I am sorry you felt the urge to belittle others in your campaign to voice yours though, and I am also sorry that you didn't have a good experience with the last game in a trilogy that meant a lot to you.

ME3 is IMO equal parts spectacular and terrible.  It really depends more on what sticks out to the individual player.
