People feeling the need to make farewell threads.

Some people sure have a high opinion of themselves.

Dude was too cool to just make a "WAH WAH im leaving so pay attention to me" thread.  Dude dropped a deuce on everyone that doesnt agree with his hate for the game.

He was just trying to cause drama. People who make farewell threads here(which is not the place for it) aren't leaving just because they want to leave. They want to incite and try to demonstrate ME3 hate. That way, when somebody challenges the idea that people are leaving because the ending was bad they can just say "look at the threads"

At the end of the day, it's a conceited attempt to send a message to Bioware.

I just beat ME3 again today, did Control, loved it(loved it more cause it was on a 60 inch tv)

and thats cool stuff, keep it going sir-_-

I loved running around in the mako in ME1. I loved not only the scenery but how they incorporated side missions on a lot of the planets, I prefered this alot better than the ME3 listening in on people's conversation side quests.
I would have loved for them to have kept and improved the planet exploration in ME2 and ME3.

This is beautiful.  This is why I first fell in love with Mass Effect (particularly that striking pan up to Earth swimming in the sky overhead).

Thank you.

Ditto. Idiotic Mako aside, making planetfall in ME 1 was great. I feel I can play ME 1 & 2 and have it end there with my own imgaination on what occurred thereafter. :D

I love ME1 and 2, flawless accomplishments in video games and story telling. ME3 had a lot of good moments and a lot of stupid WTF is this crap moments, and I hate how the ME2 squad was treated, but at the end of the day it's was serviceable failure, in other words it sucked big time but meh I get the point I guess, if there is no more Shepard I for one am through with ME3 all together.

This is my last post on these boards. I want to send the last message. Bioware and EA screwed up potentially the most successful of their games. Everything was prepared for greatness at two previous games. However, they chose to run it into the ground.

I have a lot of problems with this game. They can be put into three categories - restricting, major flaws and minor flaws.

Restricting which make game REALLY unplayable:

1. Auto-dialogue and streamlined Shepard
2. Glowboy and everything about ending

Major flawes which are greatly responsible for my hate towards the game:

3. Crucible plot
4. No exploration
5. No ME2 crew
6. Almost no side-missions (fetch quests)
7. Beginning to the point of being almost unplayable with even worse writing than ending
8. Very limited ability to interact with crewmembers
9. Cerberus bastardization

Minor flaws which are bad, but tolerable:

10. Journal
11. Kelly Chambers treatment
12. Tali's face
13. Too much focus on Liara
14. Romances are less engaging

Game is bad, those who made it what it is should feel bad and should know they will never get my money.

Also, EC is very bad, compared to original ending being horrible. Those who say that EC "fixed" something are deluding themselves, from 1/10 to 3/10 is surely improvement, but not much.

Everyone who knows this have already left forums. Only fanboys stay here to lick Bioware ego in hope they will get discount.

1. Shepard wasn't streamlined. Auto-dialogue just fills in blanks where YOU DON'T NEED to choose dialogue. Who wants three different ways to ask "Why?"
2. Subjective. If you don't believe the Reapers would work in such meticulous unison without some guiding power behind them, you're deluding yourself more than you claim EC defenders are.

3. The Crucible was planned as early as Lair of the Shadow Broker. Plus anybody with half a brain would know the Reaper's cant be beaten conventionally, hence why they've survived thousands of cycles.
4. I found that there was a lot more of the galaxy I could sift through than in ME2.
5. Garrus, Joker, Tali, and Dr Chakwas are ME2 crew. Deal with it!
6. The several N7 missions, the Rachni mission, the Cerberus bomb, the Geth Server, Rescuing Zaal'Korris, and recruiting gangs for Aria don't count.
7. Again, subjective. To think you're entitled to speak for everyone in such a hateful way is pure arrogance and stupidity.
8. I didn't find it that bad, tbh.
9. Cerberus were always bastards. Read the novels and comics. The Illusive Man played Shepard for a chump in ME2. It was a lie the entire time.

10. Don't see what's wrong with the journal. Worked fine for me.
11. You have something of a point there, I don't know why Kelly was excluded the way she was. But it isn't end of the world for me.
12. I'd rather see a pretty model's picture for Tali than find out that I screwed Jar Jar Binks's sister in ME2, wouldn't you?
13. Subjective. Liara has always been an essential character in the series. She's Shepard's most loyal friend and ardent supporter. It's understandable she'd get face time. Especially considering she's the only Prothean expert.
14. Subjective. Most of them were fine by me.

You're a curmudgeon and Bioware is better off without whiny and unpleasable players like you.

EC did just fine. As was the original ending. Unlike about 90% of the forum, I had the sense to learn the right lore enough to make sense of the endings. Extended Cut only proved true what I had already assumed.

Also that last line is just crazy. Do you see how many ending hate threads pop up on these forums every. single. day? If what you claim there is even remotely true(frankly I wish it was. It'd be nice to have the forums as a peaceful place again) then there would be none.

Also I don't need discounts. I buy pretty much everything as it comes out. Full price. Also since when does Bioware give discounts anyway?

Well, sayanara whoever you are. We wont miss you.

LMAO is that guy serious? OR IS HE TROLLING?

5. Huh I could have sworn I saw them all there?
6. There are 25 not including DLC
7. Maybe you're not a good player...
9. Cerberus was alway the enemy if you read the comics, books, played ME1.
11.Kelly can live if your choices in ME1 and 2 are right for it.
12. Talimancer are we?
12. Definetly a Talimancer.

Drone are we?

Definitely a drone.

The "D"-word is a slur around here. Let's all stay politically and morally correct and refer to them by their proper denomination: members of the zerg working class.

I just don't understend where all the hate is coming from?

A number of characters really got shafted in ME3:

1) femShep -- think if you were hetero femShep who happened to need additional firepower and left Kaidan on Virmire, and romanced Jacob.
2) Jacob - I really hated his character assassination. (I'm a Liaramancer)... My second play of ME3 was with a Paragon who romanced Jacob. Ran into Jacob. Wow, we can get together again. Nope. She went full retard in the end and chose synthesis because she figured it was only the sudden stop that hurt.
3) If you weren't a Liaramancer there was too much Liara. If you were a Liaramancer she went dumb on you.
4) Insufficient dialogue with your crew... way too much autodialogue.
5) too many step and fetch quests and not enough real side missions.
6) Thessia? You've got to be kidding. That was it? Supposedly the shining jewel of the council races? And Liara with Goddess this and Goddess that and Okay Athame... yes... Athame, we get it, your mom was a Matriarch and a very powerful one, and she took you to the temple when you small (I know moms), and you're a prothean expert.......... But you never recalled any of the symbols or anything about the temple having anything prothean about it? Ever? -- Super Mac strikes again! -- This should have been our first stop.
7) The Cerberus Plot -- The Empire. Darth TIM and his ninja.
8) Thane.
9) The Crucible Plot while in itself not that bad because the way they screwed up stuff they needed an ass pull, but the way they mishandled it was just a head desk.
10) And the final insult -- Glowboy and Door #1, Door #2, and Door #3. And we don't even get to feel like we won the game. We get to feel like we lost. We get to feel empty. Don't forget this is March. We can't forget March 2012.

and addendum -- Ashley gets $100,000 worth of plastic surgery as a signing bonus and a fat promotion for acting like a ______ to femShep in ME2. I hated what they did to her character.

Looks more like deer in the headlights than hope to me.

Here come the flames!

Nah.

Synthesis magic shoots out and regenerates/reanimates them. It's truly touching.

I wish all the effort that went into that happy ending mod was instead used to show how bizarre and ridiculous this nonsense is.

I weep for Mass Effect.

Those certainly are great words to describe the endings of Mass Effect 3.
