So I came to the conclusion I needed better armor for a particular fight and I noticed I had almost too complete items sets: the Ancient Elven Armor and the Chevalier's Armor.  I do a search in the forums and the wikki only to find out that the chevalier's armor does not drop completely in the PC version (somtimes is not in the chest in Marjolaine's home) and the Anicent Elven Armor boots are not where they're supposed to be either (in Lothering, but it's long since been destroyed for me).  I can only add the elven boots via a mod someone created.  That's kind of dumb that the developers wouldn't include these items properly in their game.
