Another vote for the Wraith. I actually prefer the Grall if I'm hosting, but the Wraith is the best overall shotgun in the game. Some won't agree with that as they think the RoF is much too slow, but when factoring weight, damage, accuracy, RoF and reload times there simply isn't a better gun.

The Crusader is the most accurate at range, but it weighs a ton and is annoying to hit moving targets with the delay.

The tracking on the GPS is really nice, but I always prefer the Wraith if I'm looking for a ranged shotgun. The Wraith is just such an amazing weapon.

that is a L2p issue

If you can consistently land headshots, it does insane damage

you just need the feel of the gun's mechanics. If mastered, the crusader is an amazing weapon

now there is an arguement as to why use the crusader when you can use a sniper rifle. Faster reload times, and because a using a single slug shotgun feels kewl as hell

Yes, just like the Kishock and the graal the delay makes it require a little practise. Nothing much though imo.

Long range? Crusader all the way. 4 shot clip forgives bad aiming.

GPS over anything for me because I've gotten used to its niche, but the Wraith is a good one too.

Crusader if you're the host and want to try it out.

1. Crusader is the most accurate, but it's mechanics is a bit different. I'm beginning to like this gun.
2. Gps on host, it has limited tracking ability so you can shoot at longer range and still hit
3. Grall on host, it has little spread even at long range, but it does not track enemies, on bigger maps like hydra or condor you might face problems on fast moving targets
4. Wraith is great with choke (but mine is not at X level :( )
5. Personal preference is Choked Claymore, it's damage is huge so even if all of the palettes don't hit at the longest range, it still does considerable damage. Reload cancel is a must.

Crusader - this was what I was using, I like it a lot, aside from not having a scope it feels like a decent sniper. Strangely I haven't noticed the firing delay and I am doing okay leading for shots.

Graal - fantastic power, seems great hipfired up close, but I do find it slow after getting used to the Crusader.

GPS - I loved this gun all through ME2 on my Infi Shep, but I just can't get it to hit a thing in mp. It frustrates me because I thought I'd know how to use it straight away. Definitely need more practice, but it's trying my patience.

Wraith - I used this for a while on my FQI, great gun, but feels so much more of close combat gun, how do you make it work better at range?

Crusader - perfect accuracy, if adjusting for the oddities, so by far the most accurate "shotgun".

Claymore + smartchoke - good at range, at least on snipers, and the new HVB helps. But also heavy, and less straight accuracy than...

Graal - probably the "best" long range shotgun for me, as it's weight is so much more comfy. I used to love it: would stand next to snipers on Dagger or Giant and out snipe them, but enemy buffs and other adjustments have weakened it slightly.
Still I'd call it for best on balance still.

Being an Infiltrator I'm not bothered about weight cooldowns.

The Shadow is the only Infiltrator that does worry about cooldowns.  That is, unless you don't want 2 shadow strikes per cloak cycle.

Never said I couldn't hit moving targets with it, just that it's annoying (and keep in mind that I'm saying this as a proficient Javelin user, so I know how to compensate for the delay).

It's not a bad weapon, but if they reduced the weight of that gun significantly, it might give more players a reason to use it. However, as it stands now, there are so many other shotguns that are better options. Hell, I'd actually prefer using the Eviscerator (a very underrated weapon, although not a weapon I'd ever use outside of the challenge since I have a high level Wraith) over the Crusader.

Crusader if you get the hang of the delay.

That and it doesn't suffer from lag as much as Graal does.

True, it lags on its own!

Psh, dunno what you talk about! =]

For some reason I never feel like I want to. I'll SS then either heavy melee another if breaking cloak there won't open me up to trouble, or move out of group range and shoot the next target if it is unsafe.

My two favourites are the Wraith and GPS. If you want to have some fun, try out the Scimitar. It's a blast when yehs slap it on a character with shockwave. Use some incind rounds, shoot, then shockwave away! Fire Explosions everywhere!
