If popular opinion is the judge, it looks like ME4 will be a sequel. Bioware has been adamant that Shepard will not feature in it. But what would you think if Shepard were included in one small way?
On the Citadel Presidium, a statue of Shepard stands out on the lakes, using your Shepard's likeness, with your romance interest (if you had one) standing next to them on the pedestal. No Aveena description to go with it, no exposition on what Shepard did if (s)he survived (or even confirming if (s)he survived after Destroy), no trilogy-era squadmates appearing in the flesh - just a statue. Just a silent tribute to Shepard.
It would be neutral to all three endings. One way or another, Shepard quietly passes into the history of the Mass Effect universe - and there's still plenty of speculation for everyone as to what happened to Shepard and the squad between ME3 and ME4.
How do you think Shepard should be acknowledged in ME4, if at all?

Eh, I guess it would inappropriate to COMPLETELY ignore Shep. A statue or memorial would be fine I guess. They would just have to get Shep's gender correct. Keep the helmet on to avoid having to take into consideration the different faces.

S/he ought to be reviled as the greatest villain who ever lived because s/he helped the Reapers win.

I picked Destroy, not Synthesis.SpamBot2000 wrote...

Let's please not morph this into yet another b****fest about the ME3 endings. People have been on here saying they want a sequel. This would be a part of it.
