Either it means the squadmates will have dialouge or there will be a massive amount of plot in it.
All of which points to it being a good thing, since voiced squadmates means confirmed squadmates for the dlc and not silent or absent squadmates, and a more story dlc is always a plus.
This is pretty good news.
Half Life 3 confirmed!

Someone correct me if I am wrong but I seem to recall Bioware back tracking on an end date for DLC production. At first it was to be a full year of support, and then recently they said they have not set date for ending new content.
Also correct me if wrong here, but don't each of the characters have their own writer? If so perhaps this means different content from a lot of the characters throughout the series.

Both interesting and good to hear that multiple writers are going to be involved in the DLC after Omega, hopefully it's not the last.

The DLC production schedule was completely disrupted by the creation of the "Extended Cut". So we have no idea what has changed due to that, whether they just pushed back all planned DLC, or scrapped some.
Yeah, each writer is in charge of writing specific character's dialogue. Most of them (if I remember correctly) have about 2-4 major characters.

Didn't one of the writers say they were going to Vancouver to look at landmarks and implied he was doing so for a reason?
Earth dlc.....maybe..... just maybe.
That was Jos Hendriks.

"Going to check out Vancouver next month because I hear it has wonderful architectural sites and parks. No other reasons. At all."
And it was a personal Vacation. He came into the Twitter thread and said so.

Does this prove IT?MegaSovereign wrote...
Must be IT DLC.
Sorry, I had to.
I hope it doesn't.
IT...great fanfic...dont want it in game. If BW breaks down and gives in to this...it will make them weak and seemingly incapable of originality. The fans that are all for IT will say BW did a goodjob...at the same time patting themselves on the back. They will also say BW NEEDS THEM. Everytime BW does something thereafter...people are gonna be all over them saying how THEY were the ones that saved BW from failure...and their products are crap without constant fan input and advice.
Because the ending to ME3 was so original. <_<

What do you hate about IT out of interest? The idea of tricking the player? Or that it would ruin the game for those who like Control or Synthesis? Or that the story didn't end? Something else? I am genuinely curiousAlanC9 wrote...
I honestly can't decide if I hate IT or Puzzle Theory more; I keep going back and forth. What are the odds that Bio will really screw me and canonize both of them at once?

Hopefully this is the second dlc after Omega, I really don't want the DLC to stop at 3
4. The "Extended Cut" counts, as it took them a substantial amount of time. I think 5 is a good number of DLCs, though, so two more after Omega sounds good.

Unless they spike his drink with LSD or lock him in a broom closet, this DLC should be approached with as much trepidation and pessimism as would be the norm for ME3 content.
