Parts of the game were brilliant and they were written by some people.clarkusdarkus wrote...
The main game had all the writers involved..................but the game was still crap.
ME3 had below average main plot and awful end,and those too were created by some people.
Lets hope that former "some people" group will contribute more then latter one.

Most probably is the last dlc. or not. If it's citadel dlc then most probably is about evacuating everyone before reapers came in to take it and maybe show us how the hell reapers took the citadel into sol system.
If they're going to do that, they might as well add some Priority: Earth stuff. Come on, make it as awesome as the Suicide Mission. Have the player pick races and position them, and that dictates whether you make it to the beam.

Mr. Priestly has said that they can change small aspects about the endings. I am all in favor of this; hint breath scene.

That would make Priority Earth a lot better; honestly this is what I was expecting in the vanilla game.
I know many people here will say that using time after the release date to fully implement ideas you had during development and charging for it is bad; but I have no problem with paying for DLC that makes the game better. Unfortunately time is money, and time table must be met. I just hope there is more after this one.

IT DLC? Lots of writers on something exciting they can't talk about... I don't know.
We can only hope.

They do?, is that an opinion or do you actually have a source for that?.

I don't know where he gets his BS from, but let me say this: I hate IT, it's annoying as f*ck and people who still believe in it are morons imo. It's simply not true, nor is is brilliant. It's just 'boom Bioware writers suck, we invent our own ending no matter how bad'.
As for what OP says. I say it's interesting. I'm only afraid it could be even more expensive than Omega, because it could be even bigger than Omega!

well it can't because omega is 1.99gb and the max is 2gb for micosoft standards..

I believe he was refering to Omega because its been "finished" for several weeks and is in (or was) in certification with Sony and Microsoft.
If they announce a new Omega-Like DLC (SP - story based), then they probably would not announce it until several weeks after Omega is out, which would most likely mean a release in January or perhaps much later. Only guessing of course.

Wants to be excited but can't.
Will wait and see just what is done and if it'll effect the flavor in how the game ends.
If Shepard still has to commit forced suicide, and not at least die in dignity (refusal option aside) I will probably give this, as with the other DLCs, a pass.
If however, they can rewrite so that regardless of whether I play my Renegade or Paragon, and feel properly rewarded for the path I chose, then I'll pick up the other DLCs I have not purchased thus far as well, as it'll make the replaying worthwhile.
Would be interesting to see just where it'll lead to. Just, not going to purchase in trust.
Wait.
See.
Then decide if its worth buying to replay ME3.
I think the same........remember the good old days of DA:O and ME1?
heh.
Good old days like Buldar's gate 2 you mean?
Though I was around to have purchased Shattered Steel.
So, ya, you can call me a "long time Bioware fan" ... up till now that is.
Actually, come to think about it, the end of BG2 had sparked almost as big a row as this one, but back then, on the old Bioware boards the devs and writers were more active in participating with us fans.
I remember that the main unhappiness then was how after Irenicus was defeated, the main complaint wss how incomplete and unfinished that ending felt. Child of Bhaal, God of murder and we "retired" in an elven village?
And so many a heated discussion (Romances!) and how wr needed an epic ending for BG2.
I would like to belive that because the Devs and Writers were actively participants we then had The Throne of Bhaal expansion for BG2. Romances were *awrsome!* and not just because you slept with your LI, you actually see character growth because they are in a relationship with you. (Viconia)
And that ending.
Effing. Epic.
Of the more recent releases, Dragon Age : Origins is the title I point to for branching options. It had the naive "pure" heroic sacrifice to downright Machiavellian stab your best friend in the back kind of ending.
I still play DA:O every now and then because it truly allows me to have *options* in how I want my game to play out.
Then we have ME3.
Greatest fracking game series to be ruined by the greatest fracked up ending for a series.

there is no way they can go into bug fixing mode with just a few days left until omega releases. (plus this was said just yesterday)

*Right*, because they did such a great job bug testing ME3. Weekes only says whatever he can to make himself look good, don't take anything he says as gospel.
