I'm pretty sure Xen dies with the rest of the quarians if you support the geth on Rannoch. That makes some Xen DLC rather unlikely, IMO.
Honestly, how many people don't pick peace, though? And of those few that do not, who picks the geth?
And it could be explained that she escaped of course.
Though, perhaps you have a valid point, in that it could conflict with another main plot point of the game. In that case, how many other things could it possibly be? We've spent the entire game on the Citadel, it's about the only hub world in the whole damn game. How many more things could we possibly be doing on it?
Which makes Epilogue seem more likely, in my eyes, but perhaps that's just wishful thinking. Or maybe not. Huh.

Although Riptide's theory is better. To add to that, since there is currently no way to make peace between the Geth and Quarians without an import from ME2, which is a great reward for playing ME2 and making certain choices, but seems a little too harsh on new Shepards or new players, BW could allow you to earn enough points through the DLC.
I still hold out hope that my Shepard will have a chance to talk to her mom one last time though, so...

They could always just make it available before the decision on Rannoch and make it unavailable if the key characters dies. It'd be a nice change from the rather cheap cop-outs.

Say they do an epilogue DLC, it's possible to account for each ending. Destroy has you playing as Shepard, Control could have you playing as a Shepard controlled husk, Synthesis could have you playing again as a husk, or perhaps more likely as EDI. Refuse is the only one that might be impossible to do because of time constraints, but it's certainly feasible. Destroy sees Shepard returned to his team and he gets his happy ending. Control sees Shepard reunited with his team, though as the Catalyst says, his connection to them is lost, he's speaking through a husk. Synthesis sees EDI and the team finding out what happened to Shepard and the implicates of Synthesis, Refuse has Shepard wandering through the Citadel, wounded, and fighting against increasingly endless hordes of Reapers before finally being overwhelmed.
Not saying that's the way it has to play out, but I think it makes a case for one way it possibly could. The DLC would explore the implicates of each ending, we get some reactions from Shepard's teams and how it's affected them. Joker's loss of EDI, Javik's anger at Shepard not destroying the Reapers, ect. It would give our ending choice consequence and weight.
Or, again, it might be something completely different.

My guess is a romance pack, perhaps.

Epilogue DLC is a horrible idea. You're either playing someone who isn't Shepard or you're infringing on the player's idea of what Shepard does after. I have a lovely post-Destroy headcanon and I don't really want it screwed up.
Your headcannon is getting screwed over in the sequel anyway. If you dont' want that, you better put down your controller and accept never to play a ME game again, because like it or not, it appears they're moving forward.

Guys, I *remember* the Xen quest. It was about the complexity of recruiting the Eclipse. I know you can pad things, but come on.

A romance pack is another viable possibility.
I guess we won't know for sure until they announce it. It could be several different things.

There's a difference between "500 years later, the krogan have adapted to the genophage again" and "Shepard became an Alliance admiral and is leading operations in the Traverse." The only time I was satisfied with the epilogue was DAO where my decisions helped shape the PC's future.
Yeah, well, frankly, I'd like a better resolution to my Shepard's journey than taking a breath on an exploded space station, and I know many people who feel the same way.

Jacob Taylor: Barrier, Incendiary Ammo, Cryo Ammo, Pull
Zaeed Massani: Disruptor Ammo, Inferno Grenade, Submission Net, Ballistic Blades
Jack: Warp Ammo, Pull, Shockwave, Cluster Grenades
Kasumi Goto: Flash Bang Grenades, Overload, Sabotage, Shadow Strike
Samara: Biotic Sphere, Reave, Pull, Throw

[Sadly the rest of the Mass Effect 2 crew are dead. At least Garrus and Tali made it].
Udnot Wrex: Charge, Barrier, Shockwave, Carnage
Oh a character with either flamer or snap freeze would be nice

Many more DLCs =/= many more story DLCs. They may be thinking "another 2 weapon packs, MP DLC and alternate appearance pack, and one last story SP DLC". We can't know for sure either waySeifer006 wrote...

True. But my Resources comes straight from the Dev themselves. The question wasn't on DLCs but Story Related DLCs, I doubt Mike Gamble was referring to "appearance packs"

Jos never said it's still being written. At least we're not the ones believing in Light/Guardian/Project X DLCs, or saying "Collector weapons in pack tomorrow" when it turns out it's not even a weapon pack but an outfit pack lolTSA_383 wrote...
