Hello all,
It has been awhile since I've last logged on here (even longer since I've played any ME game), however, I have a question.
In my opinion, the "Mass Effect Trilogy" came out too early. I believe it should have been released after some time passed following the release of the final ME3 DLC (whatever that may be). Then the thing should have had every game with every DLC. Who knows, maybe they'll still do that one day.
Anyway (I'm getting to my question here), I don't think they should label the games ME1, ME2, and ME3. Instead they should be viewed as a single storyline/experience. With the announcement of ME4, I believe this original trilogy should be given a name (for example the new Halo trilogy is called the Reclaimer trilogy or something like that).
Here's my question:
What would you name the Mass Effect Trilogy?
My idea:
Mass Effect: The Shepard Trilogy
Note: Answers don't have to be serious. Have fun, but of course use appropriate discretion.

It's probably just going to be called "Original trilogy" from fans. Much like how star wars' Trilogies happened to be called "Original" and "New".

I do that with most sequels, as they're essentially individual slices of the same Pie. Regardless of gameplay changes, it's still a connected story arc.I don't think they should label the games ME1, ME2, and ME3. Instead they should be viewed as a single storyline/experience.
A Rose by any other name would be just as speculative. I've no worries about the name - I may give a facepalm to a select few game names like "Irritating Stick" or "Wild Woody", but I'm more concerned about, you know, the game itself. Somehow I don't see the development team changing it on the fly: It's already out, though there's still a small possibility far down the line for an Uber-Bundle once the entire series is over and done. What would you name the Mass Effect Trilogy?
It's Mass Effect, and It's the Trilogy. Mass Effect Trilogy. If it were something besides a bundle, I may have been more concerned. "Mass Effect: Thane Goes Fishing" or "Mass Effect: The Musical, Starring the Catalyst as Himself/Herself"

Well, I'll likely refer to it as the "Original trilogy" or the "Reaper trilogy" in future. But calling it the "Reaper trilogy" on the box wouldn't work, considering that would be a huge ME1 spoiler.

Mass Effect: RGB Edition
The case/disk for ME1 will be distinctly blue-tinted, aligning with the idea that it's morally Paragon. Yes, you can be a Renegade, but Shepard just comes off as a giant douchebag.
The case/disk for ME2 will be distinctly red-tinted, aligning with the idea that it's morally Renegade. Shepard, afterall, spends the entire game recruiting and working alongside criminals and murderers while working for a known terrorist organization. Not to mention the fact that if you didn't import a ME1 character (and didn't use the mini-comic), then all the ME1 choices default to Renegade.
The case/disk for ME3 will be distinctly green-tinted, aligning with the idea that "Synthesis is BioWare's favorite ending". The cover will feature a smiling Husk, a smiling Banshee, and Javik in a group hug.
