I've done the lot, but since I'm on PS3, I couldn't do the first three.

My promotionals are: Valkyrie 1 (Got it last weekend), Eagle 4, Crusader 5 (Got it this weekend), Hurricane 6 and Valiant 5. I've been lucky, getting a lot of the Hurricane, and only got the Eagle much later!

Crusader: is a decent weapon.
If you don't have it, you're not missing much. It weighs a ton and does decent damage even at mid range.

Valkyrie: I don't like burst fire weapons. Having said that, it does good damage.

Eagle: Perhaps the most under-rated pistol in the game. It's a good power for anyone who uses powers a lot. It is very good at spraying ammo mods. Even though it is nowhere near as terrible as people make it out to be, it is still trumped by other pistols.

Hurricane: This is perhaps the best SMG in the game. It has some stiff competition from the Bloodpack SMG, Collector SMG and the Geth Plasma SMG. Heavy recoil and lots of damage against all targets. In the hands of a Turian, the Hurricane can wipe out enemies very quickly.

Valiant: Don't have this one. Is it any good?

I've got all of them done. Didn't know about the operation resurgence bug, so I was a little disappointed in myself for missing one. Good thing I actually did do it, now I can sleep at night.

The valiant is a very forgiving sniper rifle. It fires three shots in fairly quick succession and reloads quickly. People like it because of the speed and flexibility it offers. The weight isn't all that bad for a heavy sniper, either. I personally don't like it because I often body shot. With the 3-shot sniper rifles you need to be able to hit the head consistently in order to maximize damage.

I also wouldn't recommend breaking into hardcore sniping with a 3-shot weapon. Better to learn to line up shots properly, but to each his own.
