This unit should replace a boss in a wave.
1 unit in a hole bronze campain
3 units in a hole silver campain ( means every 3rd wave)
5 units in a hole gold campain (means every 2nd wave)
50% random chance for every wave on platinum
What are your thoughts...

prime snipes you from across the map... plus his little pet that sees through cloak.
then you get stunned. then you're dead.

Don't forget to mention that the Prime can curve his shots something that is the envy of other snipers. Scions once possessed are even worse.
Yeah Possessed Scions Snipe with Multi-Frag Grenades

Rocket Troopers fill that role I think.
Never realised they were snipers since they come close, melee and shoot their rockets in the face.

I like when Rocket Troopers camp in the rafters on Goddess or Reactor and reign Hell on you.

Collectors: Collector Assassins from ME2 armed with Collector Sniper Rifles, because what's the point of creating the gun otherwise?
Reapers: Salarian husks armed with Javelins, as everything points to this being intended anyway.

Scions and Ravagers, what are they then, if not snipers?

Artillery, like the Phantom's palm gun.

Fixed that for you.
I'd prefer guardians to return as tanky, armoured beetle like collectors with a gold version of the preatorian's anti-power bubble, which fixes it to the spot, as it's possesessed ability.

Oops, I'm tired, I'll fix it. Guardians would be cool too!

Reapers could do with a fast unit. Something like a close combat
rachni/ravager. But the adjutant might liven them up a bit (if they add
it).
Beaten to it.

I don't think any faction needs a sniper. Every faction already has sufficient long-range firepower. Really the only gaping hole I see is that Reapers lack a unit that can sneak up on you and deal serious damage. And yes, I know that Banshees can do crazy teleport through walls maneuvers, but I'm thinking more along the lines of a Dragoon-like enemy. The Adjutant may fill this role however. I think Bioware has a pretty good grasp on the weaknesses of each faction and how to address them - Dragoons added a fast moving Cerb unit that wasn't vulnerable to stasis, and Bombers added positional awareness to fighting Geth as the faction lacked grenades.Reapers could do with a fast unit. Good points, both of you. I agree, I'd rather see Adjutants than a sniper unit, but the Collectors need Assassins.
