Gee, I haven't seen a vanguard kill stealer thread in such a while.  I am excited!

And for the record, I kill steal FROM vanguards all the time. That Black Widow/Javelin baby! :innocent: (I don't kill steal on purpose mind you, the enemies just somehow mysteriously die before their charge connects.) xD

Yep, that's why I don't feel bad. And I don't mind when another sniper kills my charge target, as long as I am still alive.  and doing science 

P.S. Vanguards are my favourite class ever, since ME1.

I guess I don't understand this.
How is this different than someone getting in a sniper shot, or submission net, or ballistic blade, or a krogard getting the melee in, or someone uses a reegar or arc grenade, and your charge ends on empty space?

Should you be angry if your grab is interrupted by an arc grenade or sniper?
How about when your team mates position themselves in front of you, while you are firing, so they can kill what you are firing at?

It's all pretty funny. Folks pull that on me all the time and I could care less. In the end, I am getting paid.

Granted there were a lot of bad VGs early on in the game's life.. since 've escaped the Black Hole I've noticed the ones I've encountered lately seem to be a higher grade overall.

But its been said before, and no one but you really cares about your score. Hell pard, I usually bottom out because I'm running around supporting team members, cocking up a lot of assists and revives, running objectives, etc.

My measure of success is when my team survivies the round and extracts successfully.

Ofcourse I revive people, but I mostly solo the whole game. Different playstyles for different people, I guess.

I've seen too many waves fail because people are too busy doing their own thing, as if they were soloing but using the team to run interference for them, while they score.

I would rather we all extract at the end.

"Kill stealing" is a Silver problem. Gold is the solution. Do it.

In gold you're happy for any kill on the field that happens, regardless of who does it.

Also, if you're worried about points and kills, play an adept or engineer. They charge, they detonate your skills, you get points, on every kill.

My engie gets more points than Vanguards this way, not that I'm trying to outscore them, it's just easier for the team if I set up the boombooms. (Or set them off as a vanguard.)

You DO realize that sometimes a Vanguard player has to charge in order to refill their shields and not die? Should they just die, and then let you try and pick them up, and then when you die because you are playing some puny character that can't take a few shots or instantly refill their shields through a power, do you expect them to get up and res you? 

I'm guessing yes. Also, you are a sniper, yes? Probably not, but you sure whine like one.

1st off, there is NO such thing as kill stealing in this or any other game.
2nd Vanguards charge things for several reasons, 1 being to R E S T O R E their shields so they don't D I E. 2 because thats how most vanguards are meant to be played, are you going to b!tch that the adepts are warping every thing and the DoT is "Stealing your kills"?

This guy reminds me of someone i met in the first couple weeks after release who was literally screaming into the mic about "I'm not getting ANY exp points because you guys are killing everything"
we tried to tell him that at the end of the match we all get the combined score. He kept saying no i can see my score and i'm only getting XXX amount. the guy was literally rageing, and never would accept that he was getting the same amount of EXP as the rest of the team no matter what he personally scored...... I miss that guy he was great for laughs

LMAO a vanguard is meant to charge, restore shields, stagger then destroy the enemy close range. Quit whining! I would love to play with you on my Kroguard and ''steal'' your kills. I get 12 yr old noobs whining all the time when I do it haha
