 I know we have to be human but can there be multiple backgrounds like a noble or if a Mage be an apostate or something. This would be cool anyone agree. Also there would be more or at least different backgrounds then I mentioned

Yeah Amilli0n is right, Bioware have said we are getting masseffect style backgrounds a la shepard.

As others have stated, it seems that they will add backround choices for your character even if you can only be human - Unfortunately, you won't be able to play through any origin stories like in DA:O, so it will be more similar to how ME handled it.

Personally I prefer a game to show rather than tell, and is a bit surprised about this decision - especially considering how focused bioware seems to be to provide a "cinematic experience". Hopefully it will lead to having more consequences in the main story instead, but I have my doubts

Well in ME1 there was a background-specific side mission and at least one other side mission that had a more personal a more personal connection to Shepard if you had the proper background.  Perhaps the background story of the DA3 character will be woven into the story in this manner.

You will be able to pick your background, and it will affect... stuff... in the game. This could be quests, dialogue, etc.

Maybe he just didn't see the announcement?
