So, is anybody speculating about the revelation at the end of "Those Who Speak" that "the blood of dragons runs in [Alistair's] veins"?

Here are my speculations:

* Alistair and Morrigan are related. I don't know if Maric is Morrigan's father too, but they are at least related on the dragon side. I've suspected this from DA:O -- their banter is very "sibling rivalry," and their names and situations very much echo those of the mythological Arthur (king's son) and Morgan le Fay (witch). Arthur and Morgan were half-siblings; she seduced him and gave birth to Mordred, who in many versions of the legend is the one that eventually kills Arthur. So if you make Alistair sleep with Morrigan, I'm thinking the consequences are not gonna be pretty.

* Flemeth's dragon form is her true form. She shapeshifts into a human when she wants to. Presumably other dragons (the older, more powerful ones?) are able to do this as well -- this is how we end up with human/dragon crossbreeds. It's also possible that Flemeth is a crossbreed herself, just one with a higher proportion of dragon in her.

* The dragon cults know a lot about whatever's going on here. Drinking the blood of a dragon isn't the only way to absorb some of their powers, if ya know what I'm sayin'.

* The Tevinters know a lot too. The whole dragon/human congress thing probably originated with the first Tevinter Imperium and the Old Gods.

Thoughts? Predictions? Wild guesses?
