Thanks Caineghis! I watch all of your videos and at some point, I learned some things out of it - I learn slowly, haha. I don't go for Platinum yet, well, maybe one day... Have to get comfortable in Gold first.
But, to play and give a live commentary and instructions proves you are a BOSS.

I've just tried it out on Vancouver (because of the map mastery challenge) and I failed horribly at Wave 8. In the later waves my Acolyte ended up doing most of the work. Still, great tutorial Caineghis. I will try it again tomorrow.

Thanks to your guide I successfully did platinum solo for the first time today. I just made one adjustment, I used survival loadout V instead of shield booster V. Thanks very much for the tips, they made a real difference.

Oh my... Not only are you completely missing the sarcasm going on between the two here, you are also resorting to calling names without any reason.

That was indeed completely uncalled for. Why don't you just Solo Platinum for yourself or keep out of the discussion completely, if you have nothing of value to contribute? Are you a Fanboy of one of the players involved, who can't stand the slightest impression of criticism (even if there wasn't any)?

Funny, I'm a big fan of playing the Geth Trooper without Hunter Mode, but I wouldnt have necessarily considered it Platinum Solo material.  Gold sure, and Platinum as part of a team...  Clearly, I was underestimating the class.

Watched a few minutes, looks like a very, very helpful video.  Good commentary, analyzing everything important on screen.

I'll probably give this a try myself soon.  I'm happy because the trooper is one of my favourite classes, so I should feel right at home if I try and solo with it.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but that ladder (the one near the LZ) on Giant can glitch sometimes if you try to go down it normally. The animation will show you going to the bottom but you end up stuck at the top. I've not had this issue until recently. It happened to me an my friends multiple times, even the host. Something like that is a huge deal in Platinum when you're trying to escape. So to anyone who reads this, be careful of that ladder.

Anyways, nice video man. I still haven't been willing to try a Platinum solo yet. I can comfortably solo Gold with the Geth Trooper though. I've only done it twice and both times I succeeded with not many gels used. By far one of my favorite classes. I can comfortably do Platinum with friends now, but still don't think I'm ready for that first big solo.

Yep. The Acolyte & the flamethrower melt away the bosses a lot faster than the shooting & running with the Ghost even with a Harrier X or PPR X.

I tried to Plat with this build just a few moments ago, but failed hard on wave 5, the Hunters got me. But was pleasantly surprised how fast all boss enemies and armored targets went down with this build, especially them Banshees.
So I decided Platinum Solo is not for me, and did the Gold solo with the same build against Reapers on Giant, and that was like easy mode

So excellent build indeed, maybe I'll try to watch the entire vid in the near future to
