Platinum solo is easyer with tank classes/build

Vorcha usually die in a couple missile shots, or random grenade, or random bullets, etc. Their regen just isn't good enough, unless you are great at dodging. The geth is easier because it is very forgiving when taking damage.

First of all congrats to deservedly acquiring the Lone Wolf Banner!

I just took a quick look at your video and was wondering a little about your build.

You threw on a Cyclonic Mod III, so why did you choose a 6/6/5/3/6 build over for example a 6/6/6/5/3 build?

The latter would give you +25% in power damage (=flamer) and another +10% for flamer AND weapon damage (or a 10% faster movement speed and an enhanced Vision range).

Plus upgrading to a Cyclonic Mod IV would have compensated for the loss in shields and still given you the higher damage output...

I also recognized you were using the regular High Caliber Barrel and not the Heavy Barrel on the Acolyte, again missing out on another +15% weapon damage. The cooldown for the flamer isn't noticeably impacted by the higher weight.

This is no criticism at all, you managed to survive Wave 11 and that's what counts in the end. I am just curious about the reasons behind your choices.

We can't all be pro players like you Tronar, some of us average players just play the game for fun without paying too much attention to these kind of details

Cheers for the tutorial dude.  I did my first silver then gold solo doing pretty much what you said (though not as good o'course).  I'll practice a bit more before doing platinum tho.

I find solos boring btw

You mean I am a pro player like those people, who stand behind a wall and spam Electric Slash, Biotic Slash or Smash through that wall the entire game?

And who gave you the weird idea that playing this game is supposed to make fun? That absurd concept definitely can't stem from anybody here at BSN.

Did this on Gold with Vorcha Soldier since I don't have a Geth Soldier, not sure how it would pan out on Platinum though.

Man, I have to thank you so much.
I've watched the full video, during the last two days, just to be sure to get all the tips you gave.

Then I tried my first platinum solo: I failed at 40 sec from the extraction, because of those fu***ng Prime drones, but holy hell your guide works, it damn works!

No wave has given me any real problems, I think the old title was appropriate!

I've been watching your vids for awhile. They have really helped me alot. Just throwing this out there, I think you would get more views if you used your gamertag instead of "Powerstream" for your youtube channel.
