Hello comrades,
This school was introduced in dragon age 2 and i would love to see how it can be implemented in the dragon age universe. Is there anyone who would like to see a necromancy skill tree? We have a blood magic one yes but we haven't had a school that allows us to raise dead.
inb4 bioware used necromancy to kill my mother
Any Chance of a necromancy specialization?

In the spirit tree there is an animate dead spell. While not creating undead, animating corpses is close enough for me.

Blood magic and the Spirit tree together mix well together to make a decent necromancer build.

Necromancy is Spirit and Blood Magic in DA. I think it's just demons possessing corpses.

It was enough for me in DAO as well, DA2 didn't have the option. At the very least i would like to see it (and summoning in general) added back to the mechanics.
That was one of my favorite PC's in DAO actually. Animate dead+entropy curses+poison bombs. Lots and lots of poison bombs.

I'd rather have a sort of demonology specialization.

Yeah, kinda dissapointed there hasn't been a demon specialization. A lot of the in game mages summon demons all over.

I'd absolutely support a necromancy specilization. Whenever it's available in games, I nearly always take it. I especially like playing a necromancer that rationalizes their abilities and still thinks of themselves as being a good person who makes moral choices.
And mage is my favorite Dragon Age class by far, so I think this could be really fun.

So far i've read a couple of good idea's for the dark side xd
Demonology: Summoning and controlling demons as pets.
This could also involve ritual sacrifice and transformation into a pride demons physical appearance.
Necromancy: As shown by the circle's head in kirkwall and the serial killer. Colliding meat and blood and bone into abominations. This could alse be a subskill in blood magic.
This can also allow you to talk to the dead
Blood magic: I think blood magic needs to be evolved further into something trully abhoring, like seeping blood from orophases and maybe even becoming a cainite (vampire) than thrives on the consumption of blood
Taint: If it's possible to be a gray warden in the new game (it wont), we should get more magic based on the taint, not simple blood conversion to mana, but instead something like control over weak tainted creatures (blight wolf etc) and ofcourse dark spawn.
