I can see something like this happening. Dagna discovers that Sandal can cast spells. After her squeeing fit, she proceedes to try and figure out what the hell is up with him. We could check up on them periodically at our player base/castle/whatever and be treated to humorous comic relief scenes of their interactions.

Defnitely like the comical castle scenes idea - take heed Bioware!

I honestly wouldn't mind if every time you arrive at a big battle, Sandal's stood in the middle having already annihilated everything and Dagna just kinda shrugs at you. Then the Inquisitor just has to grumble and deal with all the admin afterwards.

Yes please - the mages need to be properly educated. Every last one of them is an insufferable dullard.

It would be amazing if Dagna could make a big discovery, like how the dwarfs have become immune to lirium and not capable to perform magic. It could be realy realy useful for every mage in Thedas who would'nt want to become a vegetable if they simply could get rid of their magic like that.

I like all of these ideas. I guess the main question is whether or not the Warden's decision for her was imported functionally into DA2, and if it will work in DA3.

I'd like to see her again too! I really want to have a female dwarf LI (and Sigrun's probably not going to be one, sadly >.<). If she's a companion, I wonder which class she'd be. I don't think she has actual magic abilities and she doesn't look like a fighter either. I could be wrong though...

Do the qunari have a problem with studying mages? She's there for the science! She'd probably get put studying something sciency.

She didn't set it up, as far as I recall. It was setup because of her, but not by her, and anyway, she couldn't have returned to Orzammar if Harrowmont is king because she became a surface dwarf with no status. 

Or they could make her a Paragon for bringing magic to Orzammar. That's a story I'd like to see.

Interesting. As we saw with Varric & Bartrand, even Dwarves aren't immune to red lyrium's siren song. But if any Dwarf can figure out how to handle it without leaping headfirst off the Cliff of Crazy, I'd wager Dagna could.
