Sarmates! implements features found in 16 Cygni (influence, crafting, dynamic choice of companions class ...) but also new mechanisms :
- Lock picking and disarming traps grant XP and might trigger alignment shifts.
- New Prestige concept : Impress people by your skills and by missions achievements.
- Unofficial alignment : ever dreamed of playing a nasty paladin or a faithful warlock? Now you can.

Sarmates! is bilingual French / English.

- alignement non officiel : n'avez vous jamais rêvé de pouvoir jouer un paladin mauvais ou un sorcier loyal? Mainteant vous pouvez.

Yup,  lupanarium and some hot situations . You also may take part in a gladiator fight and meet slaves.

Actually, all alignments shifts are hidden. You get a status from time to time. You create your monk as usual but your official NWN2 alignment (the one you chose when you created your avatar) is never  changed by an alignment shift.

You accumulate Good/Evil, Lawful/Chaotic points instead. So you can play a chaotic monk the whole campaign if you wish. In addition, if you get enough Chaotic points, you can decide to move your current unofficial alignment to the official NWN2 one, in order to level up in another class which requires a non Lawful alignment.

It uses just a small set of  campaign scripts, so quite easy to reuse. I've always been rather reluctant to mess with the 2da files or to hack the standard scripts. So, I prefer to circumvent rather than to hack.
