A lot of people are defending the scene where the Vega meets Liara, but there is one thing in the anime that is completely undefendable, and that is the scene where you see the Alliance ships dragging Sovereign's corpse from the Citadel. In the end of ME1, you see Sovereign getting blown in half, with some of its arms blown off. In Paragon Lost, in a flashback, you see a flashback of the Citadel clean up after Sovereign's attack, and there are two glaring flaws:

1) Why is there a planet behind the Citadel?
2) Why does Sovereign look so intact? He doesn't even look damaged.

Here's the clip by the way

Half of Sovereign was also missing in ME2.

This is kinda of proves to me that prequels in the ME series are better left in other medium like books or comics. Movies scratcth that out.

Soveriegn not expode in Paragon Lost when he was in ME1. wth?

This will prove some of the fans even more that prequels are terrible for this franschise at least in games in some aspect.

It's like they've completely stopped caring.

Is this really how its supposed to be, BioWare?

Pff. Who's going to care about consistency anyway, right?

Okay, in all honesty, this is a prime example why I don't want any Mass Effect prequels. If they can't even get the ending of the first game right, then may the divine forces have mercy on their souls if they're going to do something like the the First Contact War.

Don't forget that the Citadel is apparently the Alliance's seat of power now too! You know, instead of Arcturus station... or Earth.

"Well ME3 screwed over consistency and lore, so that gives us a free pass too right!"

I've got nothing. I mean damn, the plot holes are incredible. Does anyone even give a damn about this franchise anymore?

First Deception, then the ME3 ending and now this travesty?

What's even more funny is in ME3 not only is the wreckage of Soverign mentioned many times like in ME2, we also see one of his legs that where blown off in Leviathan dlc. Now this crap comes along and contradicts all three games+ a dlc. Does Bioware even care anymore?

I can't wait to see how certain people are going to defend this.

They didn't write it. The people who wrote The Clone wars did.

Who is honestly suprised by this?

It proves IT I guess.

Just kidding, but it's still funny to see our old friend Sovereign so fresh and alive ;)

Still, you'd think there'd be someone from Bioware handling quality control.

We can come up with excuses for why Vega didn't recognize or remember Liara on Mars, but a fully intact Sovereign or a planet behind the Citadel is hard to defend. Those two are just glaringly bad lore errors, like Deception ignoring that Gillian Grayson is autistic or forgetting that Hendel Mitra is a homosexual.

That is no excuse, at all. Bioware should make sure they don't create plotholes and contradictions. There is already 4 in those two minutes.

1:Vega met Liara depsite ME3 saying otherwise.
2:Citadel is the seat of the Alliance which is false.
3:Sovie in tact when in the games he was blowen to bits and and pieces went flying on the Citadel, however Paragon Lost contradicts this big time.
4:Planet near the Citadel, wtf!?

I could understand if there was some minor stuff, but this is not minor. This is big stuff that is screwed up, in only two mintues.
