[Lost Mercenary]

I am pants wettingly terrified at what the entire 90 odd minutes of this thing is going to turn out like. 2 minutes, 2 FREAKING MINUTES, and 4 major plot holes get established.

Do not watch this anime with a loaded gun. You may turn it on yourself. What's worse is that I wouldn't blame you.

IGN review of Paragon Lost...

This is greater piece of art since the Mona Lisa and story driven about our beloved new character James Vega which is also introducing him in the time of events in ME2. This piece of ART is great and amazing coherent story telling with lot of great points and thought provoking ideas.
herp derp and don´t forget COD crowd you will love it, even more if you never saw a good anime and double that if you never saw Mass Effect story...

According to that RAD review people have put up, the movie ends with James in N7 armour, leading a team of marines. James isn't N7, he was offered it the day the Reapers arrived and was only thinking about it.

Again, maybe this is the reviewer screwing up but after what I've seen so far I wouldn't put it past the anime.

Probably to cool down the flames Bioware will release a statement saying that like Deception they will address the fans concerns.... in ten years.

When I am reading this stuff... I think that they are planning to screw whole series or what´s left from it with Vega´s canon...

is it wrong that i'm now looking forward to this movie just to get lols out of how little attention they've payed to the story? seriously every plot hole and inconsistency that surfaces actually brightens my day.

as conspiracy keanu would say (because i don't know how to make memes) what if deception, paragon lost and the catalyst are canon, and everything else is a mistake?

It's such a small detail that I find it very hard to care. Sovereign is dead either way, how his dead corpse looks has little to no affect on the story being told.
