Sovereing blew up in big pieces and the parts were scattered across the citadel.

Have the directors even played ME1?, probably not

Did the writers of ME3 even play ME1 and ME2?

I think that writers should hire about 20 "fanboi's" to consult regarding lore.

It's such a small detail that I find it very hard to care. Sovereign is dead either way, how his dead corpse looks has little to no affect on the story being told.

Stop nit picking for the sake of nit picking.

is it wrong that i'm now looking forward to this movie just to get lols out of how little attention they've payed to the story? seriously every plot hole and inconsistency that surfaces actually brightens my day.

Don´t worry, I´ve done it too. I watched the first Alien vs Predator or Prometheus just for that.

It also sums up why I dislike most of them. It's not like most of the people in this thread were going to watch it anyhow, I don't see why they care.

I am the Vanguard of the Drones.

But seriously, I'm not defending anything, I hate Anime and won't bother watching this because it looks lame. I just don't see how the aesthetics of Sovereings corpse being inaacurate is a travesty to the lore.

I really love the 3 FPS stop motion animation quality this movie has. It gives it a nostalgic retro feeling. Like I'm back in the 80's watching He-Man again. Brings a tear to my eye.

I hope the movie ends with Vega telling a cheesy joke and everyone bursts out in a contrived laughter.

Also this. Today when I was browsing the story and MP forums, I got this thought that the term Bioware "Social "Network" was an oxymoron considering many users are so antagonistic towards one another. But I'm sure if we dropped all this infighting over games and corporations, we could just be nice and friendly and discuss games and other queries like, ya know, friends on a social network.

But it's not like these details are obscure. I mean bloody hell, it's right there at the end! Look it up on youtube! Play the game! Talk to someone who's played the game! Small errors are the easiest to avoid.

If it was just one inacuracy it wouldnt be a big deal the problem is in just 2 minutes we get 4.
There's distraction and there's "**** it i dont care".

We care because this movie is apart of the ME universe which they are screwing up by doing inaccurate things to the lore

The people at FUNimation probably don't care. I still don't see why it affects people who were never going to watch it in the first place.

Seems like complaining just for the sake of complaining too me.

Sovereigns corpse wasn't aesthetically accurate in an anime I will never watch! Mass Effect is ruined forever!

Well, there is nitpicking, and there is noticing how things are markedly going down hill.

To me, it seems the ME team is focusing more on expanding the fanbase than trying to make amends with the hardcore fans.

People do care about these things. And in light of all the other stuff thats been going on, it's just one more thing to throw on top of the heap. All it proves is how they're working more on sensationalizing the ME IP instead of working to stay true to the lore.

As for anime, I'm not a fan of it.

This is not good. Bioware needs to be in control of what is going on in the universe they have created. They must hire some dude to make sure that everything is correct lore wise so these things don't happen.

It's a slippery slope Bioware! First deception and now this too. What's next? Shepard's midichlorian count?

Seriously, is someone gonna upload it to Youtube? I need to watch this, if only for the laughter that will ensue.

Can't be any worse then the Dead Space animes, right? RIGHT?!

Thereprobably had reasons.

Perhaps they kept Sovereing whole so that new people who are unfamiliar with Mass Effect would know what a Reaper looks like, the impact isn't the same if you just had a leg being lifted.

The Planet behind the citadel could be a way to convey that it is in space for new people as well, granted they could have done that in a better way.

strangely even though i'm nowhere near as invested in alien as i was mass effect, prometheus fills me with a red hot rage i can't describe, whereas i can see the funny in the mountain of gaffes in mass effect. what would happen if the black goo infected the catalyst? Posted Image
