Why Can't ME3 Be on Steam

Though Origin would also need to have sales like Steam does. I tend to drop most of my money in the Steam Sales. I even picked up DA:O Ultimate for $9 today(I already own DA:O, but that's cheaper than paying $40 on this site for Awakening which I don't own) on Steam.
It's nice that Valve is the one that owns the digital distribution Juggernaut that is Steam, but it's always good to have some competition.

I like the parts where it calls consumers mindless drones and passes subjective morality as fact.

Unless people stop buying Origin-exclusive games which is impossible
ME3 is the only game I've purchased through Origin and it, along with its DLC, is going to be the last.
Unfortunately, that probably means that I won't be buying Dead Space 3, ME4, and some other likely Origin-exclusive titles I might have otherwise been interested in playing.

Yes, I prefer Steam, but only because I like having things in one place and being able to use the overlay and friends list. It just so happens that I can solve all of those problems by adding Origin as a non-Steam game.
Origin is just another store, it's not what causes the constant crashing. That's EA's servers.

as so did I. I have no interest in buying any other EA/Bioware games if it's going to be Origin Exclusive. If every other company is willing to sell their products on Steam, then Bioware & EA need to work a agreement and think for the fans instead of Hoarding their products exclusively.
Origin is awful & it's poor PR when you released the first two ME games on Steam then have to seperately get Origin just for one game

A commendable attempt at misdirection, but a complete failure to respond to my request.
Again, please tell me why Origin is so much worse than Steam.

Short answer: because EA is a money-grubbin corporation that would rather launch its own terrible clone that doesn't work properly than lose part of its insane profits to any other corporation.
I might have forgiven them for Origin if they had taken all the lessons Valve learned with Steam over its first few years of life and implement them into Origin on launch day. Instead, they launched a broken, beta product but required it for their exclusive titles and then wondered why the entire playerbase complained. Seriously - capped friends list? Broken overlay? Constant crashes/disconnects? Existing conversations not viewable after game launches? Offline mode that doesn't work properly for DLC?
The only thing Origin has going for it is low system overhead, but give EA's programmers time and it'll be bloated to hell too. Steam is the superior platform in every single way, and it's sad that EA's executives can't see that. If you're going to launch your own product and force users to adopt it to play your games, it had better have all the existing features and stability of its competitors.
As it is, ME3 was my first and last Origin-exclusive purchase.

Nah it isn't. It's no Steam, but it's not the end of the world. And it supports other payment options than just Credit Card.Seifer006 wrote...

Even though I despise Origin and has since long uninstalled from my PC I admit that it is good that Steam gets some competition in digital sales. Monopoly is never good for us consumers.
But for my own convenience I would prefer if I could buy all my games from just one place. Having different accounts spread out on different stores and having to install lots of different clients it's not what I call ideal

Origin sucks but EA thinks Origin will be the next Steam. So they doesn't sell ME3 and other stuff on Steam anymore - they want to acquire playerbase to Origin.
Business stuff and you can't do anything.
What I find most funny about this, About the time of origins launch, they pulled things like crysis, dragon age, mass effect, etc off steam and made them origin exclusive.
As of time of writing, they are ALL back on steam.
Its really only their new games with MP elements (Note, only ME3 is doing well of these, MoH: Warfighter anyone? didn't think so) that are really only available on origin.
Its going to go the way of GFWL, only slower, and with more unfortunate casualties.

Steam wants to be able to sell any DLC for a game on Steam. EA didn't want to let them sell the DLC. Neither wanted to budge, so the game is just on Origin.
I like what Gabe Newell Said:
"rather see Valve disintegrate over time rather than sell out to a company like Electronic Arts."
Gabe Newell Rulez
I've never seen Steam get slaughtered for having it stated in their EULA that they can search your computer and sell the info to third parties. So worse business practices than EA? Not likely. As for games, have you ever heard of Portal? It actually won Game of the Year over Skyrim from some places. Not to mention the Left 4 Dead series which has seemed immensely popular and other games which were made by Valve. Add that to the fact that Steam is doing pretty well (look at how many people use it) and I'd say Valve is doing just fine.
Not to mention HL2?
