In keeping with the Doctor Who theme, Tom Baker should do the opening sequence voice over for DA3.
Also for some reason Brian Blessed popped into my head for a dwarf character.
I would agree, if he hadn't done little britains opening voice over, which would make L. Britain fans think DA was a comedy :S

Yes, it was just intended as a joke reference to the show. Asking him to do the actual voice over would be more than a little bit silly.
But my comment about Brian Blessed still stands.

Please no Bioware. I don't want celebrity cameo's.

Anyone else think David Tennant could be a good catch for DA3?
Quick Mockup I did:
He's not doing A LOT since Doctor Who - lots of theatre, had a clone wars cameo etc., so I think a fanboy's dreamjob like DA3 with DT in would be an awesome bit of work for him.
Thoughts?
I could see him as a rogue, elf, detective tracking down slavers - maybe becomes friends with Fenrys (sp?)?
www.youtube.com/watch
Clip for him.
You can feel free to scan his face in too! the ladys and some dudes really fancy him!
While I agree with the idea I hope you realize they probably have hired most of the actors already for the voice acting and just have not said anything.

There's just one problem with this thread, David Tennant has to agree to do a part in the video game.
Proof please
The developers would NOT be announcing the actors now its too early

Only if his battle cry is ALLONS-Y.
Would be a hell of an easter egg if so.
Would make even more sense too since the game's located in Orlais. HAH

"Whats your first name?"
"Alistair."
"…You're kidding me."
"What?"
"Here’s something i’ve always wanted to say. Allons-y, Alistair!"

I said David Tennant has to agree to do a part in the video game. That is you hand him a script, he reads it and decides if he wants a part in it.

I'd fully support the man that made the 10th Doctor my favorite of the new series to be included in DA.
David Tennant for sure.
Oh please say it is possible! David Tennant would be so amazing in the DA universe! And he could voice it in whatever accent he wanted and this fan girl would be overjoyed

That said, he did agree to an interview on the nerdist podcast so I suspect he's not as money driven as he could be. If the project interested him or challeneged him as an actor, he might do it for kicks as much as anything.
But the sheer brilliance of the man is undeniable: even if every mention of his name has me muttering 'Bastard!' under my breath for him leaving the Dr Who role. I still miss his doctor greatly. Not a huge fan of the replacement tbh.

Oi! As a proud scotsman myself there is nothing sexier than a man raised on alcohol, deep fried battered fish and a penchant for showing his legs off in a kilt...
....wait....

David Tenant would be an awesome addition to the cast. But I suspect he'd suck up a larger than usual share of the budget. Would be a tough call if that meant cuts elsewhere. Even if he would agree to do it.

Smith is Brilliant! Much less theatrical though.
That said, theatricality really works with video games, so tenant would be great.
