I was using a mid-level Vorcha Sentinel and I had the bright idea to skip Bloodlust until later so I could max out Flamer and died at least once every single wave.

The guys I was playing with had mics and they didn't seem bothered by it, but even so I was really embarrassed. I don't like to go down, especially every wave with a character that is nigh invincible if played correctly.

In a silver match, I was taken down by a group of swarmers. I immediately medi-gelled and nuked them with 2 missiles. I know its stupid to use multiple missiles on a swarmer, but there was four of them - that has to count for something.

Oh yeah. I was running away one game, reapers, health gated but actually safe until I tripped on a swarmer and died.

I went into a Plat match with a fellow forumers and some people I don't know without speccing any of my power points. Twas a fun game.

the first time i ever played i selected a bronze game and was thrown into a gold game. It was absolutely terrible. Me with my level 1 human sentinel and avenger rifle i feel so bad for those people who carried me  now having carried people myself.  .

My first Earth DLC character was the Slayer. And since i didn't want to glitch using BC, i specced out of it completely and joined a typical White/Geth lobby. After a few waves of dying over and over again, i had no other choice than hiding behind the counter and spamming Biotic Slash.

Fun fact: I scored 150k.

I forgot to put points into a character a couple times going into gold games. You haven't suffered till you play a volus with no skills specced out.

There was this one match I played as a level 19 Asari Justicar, but only had the default Avenger X and... I think Shiruken X equipped. And I only had the biotic field ability up to rank 6, no other points invested. And no gear or equipment. On a Gold Rio match that brought in geth.

In all fairness, when I say five times 'Don't start the match yet' and that lobby timer goes from 20 to 0, that ain't my fault anymore. And then the group leader has the brass to tell me to stick to Bronze.

What's embarrassing is that I scored half as many points as the dude with the Cerberus Harrier and full equipment and max level. And wound up reviving him eleven times up to wave 9, for a total of 14 revives between him and his buddy that kept ragging on me for my loadout. We wiped, so I just took my credits and left the room. = w=

Oh good god... why open up this part of my history? I went into a silver game with a GI talon and well... lets just say they got the revive medals off me in the first two waves.

Also, Rio... I never could do Rio so if I am ever dropped into a Rio lobby... don't expct me to be of use

Umm I'd have to say today I took a lvl 1 Havoc soldier into a silver game (I've done lvl 1s before on silver) but this time I underestimated the damage output of geth. I was going down at least once a round it was sad. Thankfully one of my buddies was there to help even though I didn't deserve it.

Took a Viper into a UUG match with a TSent this weekend. Game lol'd at me and gave me Collectors...pretty sure that every time I shot a Scion or Praetorian, I didn't do any damage. Anyway, got carried pretty hard.

Also played with a very good BSNer with my Havoc. I suck with the Havoc, so again, poor effort on my part.

Had my fair share of horrid games. Several sync-kills in a row. Sometimes even twice in a wave with the first time getting saved by either team or enemy.

And then a while ago I ended in a gold lobby with Lord_Sirian and Jay_Hoxtatron and one other guy I can't recall. Played several games with those guys. It's not that I sucked just that those two killed things so quickly that I seemed horrible in comparison.

Three times this weekend my vorcha's bloodlust would not regenerate health: needless to say I sucked hard, scored low, and bet my teammates were thinking "go back to silver noob"...

But we all have off days, or unlucky sync kills, i think if you can realise early it's an off day, you can try and either change your play style for the game, or drop down a difficulty until you find your groove.

I think it's very important to remember that everyone can have bad days. Especially if you are only an average player like me.

Like has been said, sometimes you're not bad, it's just that everyone else is super good.

First couple of matches untill I warm up a bit, and if I play too late and get tired, usually not very good.

Sometimes I don't even see the enemy for 2 whole waves, makes you look bad with 0 points on wave 3.

Getting both stunned and staggered by dragoons and bombers after trying to medigel. Dead again. Ops pacs not working, dead, shooting a missile between the Atlas legs, dead again, sync kills several times in a match. Sometimes I get tunnel vision when sniping and atlas's and brutes can creep up behind me. Those stealthy devils.

I'm sure we have all done it.

Sometimes when things are hectic you can loose track a bit. Like when I follow someone's combat drone half way accross the map on an escort mission. Takes me a while to realise why nobody else is following.

Thats why I stick to bronze and silver. Not too much of a burden then.

 haha I know what you mean. Played UUP with Link, and he scored over 300k while making the rest of us look like bumbling fools.

Oh yeah, I've done this too with Devastator mode, and barrier on a Kroguard. Realised during wave 10 or extraction
