First time I went into a platinum match, having no idea what the mechanics of the difficulty were. Got reapers with drell adept on vancouver.

"Oh, this isn't so bad, so banshees started on wave 1, no big deal."

Got to wave three, disable nodes. "Ah, no big deal, just a ravager and a marauder guarding this, easy peasy." Killed'em, start disabling node, cue getting mowed by the two hunters I'd had no idea were there. "WUUUUUUT?"

I was testing the Indra a bit with MQI, I did horrible, and I was the only one that extracted.
I feel bad.

played several UUGs with Ashen the other week. they were easy mode until I decided to use the demolisher. problem occurred when I forgot to put points into the character. And my weapons were Striker/Eagle with Disrupter rounds. finished with around 80k points vs Collectors on Dagger. got 25 kills only by missiles.

Turian Soldier again. vs Cerberus on a PUG. Many deaths happened.

Any time I try to use the Typhoon on xbox.

Phoenix Vanguard off host vs Geth. Got stomped in like 3 waves and got carried by a guy with 30k challenge points.

Last night, last match of the night, was PUGging gold with my Fury, ended with ghost/reapers. Piece of cake, no? Well, not so much, because on wave 8 everything went sideways, i'm still not exactly sure why we got locked it the place overlooking the landing zone, but it happened, and an umpteenth revival later, I cut my losses and run away to the other side of the map, hoping to get my bearings and regroup if there are any other survivors. Nope, everyone's dead. There were two banshees, at least one brute, one ravager and unspecified trash left out there. One of my teammates got on the mic and told me to rocket them, but no. Better kite them around like a bamf instead. In short, I whittled them to a banshee and a brute, and the banshee was on her last legs. I DC'd her as she was jumping towards me, got a BE with throw, and instead of running away, i got stuck to cover. Lost enough time unstickying myself for her to get close and got myself a hug.

The insult to injury was that my dark channel finished her off right after she dropped my disemboweled corpse on the floor. A moment of quiet humiliation, that was. I didn't want to go to sleep shamefaced, so we did another random match with the same team, got collectors/goddess, and extracted.

Wont go into details but basically a good 2/3's of the PUG's I play, which is why I almost always run Geth Soldier or Turian Ghost now. Might as well use super carries when I play with the unknown.

When i'm playing my krogaurd on gold against anything that's not geth. Joined a reaper game once, got sync killed by brutes/banshees constantly.

Hitting stasis 2 times in a row on an atlas and getting Killed by a phantom right after because i hit warp enstead of stasis :S

2 games in a row I got sync killed 3-4 times....
Them banshees/praetorians fancied some Quarian that day.
Even once by a scion that ended up spawning behind me - it sneaked up and sync killed me, I didn't even know they could sync kill at that point!

Edit - these were VERY early in the waves. (in the 5-9 region)

Yesterday when I got sync killed by a Scion with my kroguard, I had no idea they could even do that,which of course makes me hate collectors even more.

It annoys me to _sometimes_ hit the deck a lot, and usually i consider myself to fail when i'm preparing and already tired / considerably drunk for a match with completely not thought out -setup that i can't manage in any way with, and then score a fraction of what everyone else is scoring. I don't die a lot in games i play but getting into a position with a sucky loadout and character i'm not familiar with and getting steamrolled by certain enemies, is frustrating.

Sorry to the only guy who was worth his salt in aPUG this weekend - you helped with objectives, you picked the other guys up, you scored at the top of the board and I, I inadvertently shot the walking nuke beside you right before you entered the extraction circle. Really sorry.

A little while back, i was using the phoenix vanguard on FBW, after wave 4 i lost count how many times i did hit the floor the wrong way   Somehow i did have very patient pug players in the game, because they kept reviving me until the end of the game.
And somehow i did manage to score some points between falling down and getting back up, because the difference between number 4 (me) and the rest was not that much (or so i'm telling myself :innocent: )

I think back to my beginning days on MP and shake my head at my old self.

I don't think I was ever a bad teammate in that I always tried to revive people who went down and always helped with objectives. But I was just friggin' CLUELESS about powers and abilities. Seriously. My whole ME SP campaign prior to MP was Soldier Shepard and I never even used powers on THAT. I was pure cheese/easy mode and killed things with guns. Adrenaline rush - what's that? Concussive shot - wha?

Waaaaaay worse when I finally decided to branch out into other classes. My first three games as a Sentinel (which were also my first three MP games ever), I never even activated my tech armor. LULZ

As far as recently? I had a senior moment when I dusted off my Batarian Soldier. Been so long since I'd played him, I completely forgot about Blade Armor. Never activated it the whole first match. Not that it was a huge loss, but just when I realized it afterwards, I slapped my forehead.

When used first time my brand new justicar in a gold game. I was a pain for others. Also, i alwas get sync-killed by a phantom when i try run away with my turian/krogan sentinel... i forget in 95% my "oh sh!t" button to detonate tech armor. Sync-killed a few times (in different games) by a banshee when i charged at them. I was the charge all kill all the things... so others just thought "look at this ****** he got his reward for kill-stealing" when a banshee grabbed me

Earlier today was using my respec'd vorcha soilder. On wave 11, the other 3 squad mates went to hold the lz, I should also mention this was on reactor. Last 30 seconds with everything kited to the other side of the map just sat at the lz and my vorcha did his taxes on the corpes of 3 dead squad mates.

And I feel bad my vorcha can't do math well.

Some Platinum games. Just couldn't hold on, and scored very little points. Quit the lobby very quickly after that, if wasn't kicked even quicker.

Lots of things that have already been said, and also when playing as a Paladin I keep forgetting that I can use my shield to protect myself. Cue panicked running away and dying when I could just deploy the shield and wait a few seconds to get my shields back.

The first time I tried the phoenix adept, an infiltrator was the only other player on the team and had to keep reviving me. It was awful, but that kit is now one of my favorites.
