The first time I played with a Volus, back when I just started playing Gold. He wasn't specced to my liking, so I just spammed Shield Boost around everyone, hoping that my teammates would appreciate my efforts and let me stay in the lobby after the match (we did manage to extract, and despite my extremely low score of around 5-10K, they didn't vote to kick me afterwards).

Of course, I was unfamiliar to Gold back then. I also didn't know that there was a glitch associated Shield Boost, which occasionally prevented affected teammates from firing. Nowadays, I can keep up with (or even surpass) the average PUG when playing as a Volus Engineer - whether it be in score or performance - with a Hurricane + Recon/Proxy mine debuffs.

Plenty of ****ing times. I die constantly most matches.

The one really, really, REALLY notable time, though, was my first real attempt at playing the Slayer. I couldn't get the timing right or whatever, so I kept dying without even killing ****. I don't even think I got a kill medal, and just... yeah, just every damned thing that match was full of constant fail. I was booted in the lobby. I was planning on leaving out of shame anyways, but I didn't blame them one damned bit.

I'm obviously a lot better now then I was, but I was never a PUG that refused to use my equipment.

Yesterday, I had a couple of bugs in a row with the same team. One of the games, I was unable to swap weapons or get my missile launcher... and on top of that, one of the team mates was invisible to me (he still did dmg and was in the lobby when the game ended). The game right after that, we were on Hazard Firebase Dagger and whenever I looked in one certain direction, the whole screen just went blank and only the sandstorm texture was visible (even when I was inside). That certainly was not pleasant but we fortunately managed to extract on both of the games (I didn't want to quit and waste my equips...still did my best to help). So if anyone from the team sees this, I'm sorry, I usually do better than that!

Many apologies to the poor guy who had to carry me through that Rio Platinum match.

I searched for silver with my recently promoted rank 6 Havoc, I got put in to wave 2 of a Platinum match....

1 guy left during wave 2 or 3, this left 3 of us, nobody else joined. I tried, I even tried hiding in 'that' crate, I still died. Both the other 2 were Ghosts too, so I was really the only target for everything whenever I was on my feet. Then during wave 6 or 7 my lunch delivery arrived early so I had to go and fiddle about paying at my front door and then in the final objective round my controller ran out of battery and I died whilst plugging it in.

I don't think I would have looked like anything close to a reasonable player.

When I first started out and first unlocked the Drell Adept and took him into a Silver game against Cerberus. It didn't blow over very well.

first game after switching from 5 straight rounds of being krogan sentinal to the geth infiltrator. I died at least 20 times before the match ended. Going from super durable to glass cannon isn't a great idea at times, didn't help that were fighting collectors either.

Though honestly I don't think I do half bad when I used kits I'm familiar with, it's the uncharted territory that gets me blown to bits on a regular occasion though... sucks to be "the guy who's rank is obviously misleading" =-=

Once landed in a lobby full of all sorts of adepts, Asaris mostly.
Thought it'd be a good idea to switch to a drell adept for team and BEs.
... All of the adepts were specced for weapons...
I was the only one trying to make BEs that game and squishy. So came in 4th and died a lot.

Whenever I convince myself that I've finally found the perfect spec and loadout for the Phoenix Adept. Always end up being terrible, not being able to kill anything and dying left and right.

Happens about once a month.

When I try to play kits I suck at (most engineers) or using weapons I'm not familiar with, or just end up in a game where I'm poorly outfitted (playing as a Vorcha and U/U/G gives me Geth).

Just finished a game. I was a Drell Vanguard. The host rage quit when he died and I lost all my equipment after the host migration. And it was laggy as hell. I never felt so useless  It's amazing how fast/often a Drellguard with no Adrenaline Module can die in a laggy game.

I was playing as a QFI on Ghost/Cerb/Gold with pugs when my hands were hurting a lot, to be honest, I shouldn't even play bronze that day but...
Anyway, wave 7/8 everything was going fine. Then one person was grabbed. Okay, we 3 can finnish this...another (PA) died inside one of the buildings, there was an atlas/too many enemies there and I didn't want to waste a missile, so I tried to lure them outside. Then the other player (PB) died close by so I rushed there to revive him, and after that went back to PA but he died during revive. Not 2 minutes later, player PB was killed by a phantom. At one point, I was taking fire from every direction and planned to escape by a ladder...my hands weren't cooperating with me, so what I did was run in circles while a phantom finished (f*cking nemesis, anyone saying she's not dangerous is a liar) killing me. I revived but she grabbed me. I must have looked like a trolling moron.

I think PB was on my friend list, but I never saw him again. Perhaps for the best lol

Oh also, anytime there's a demolisher on the team and I'm playing a grenade class.

I wouldn't feel bad about that; most demolisher PUGs rarely leave their pylons in my experience. <_<

First time I played when drunk. Used the Human Infiltrator with the Mantis rifle. Think it was Firebase Glacier, I went down all the time, didn't get any kills and got a (well deserved) kick-vote afterwards.

I didn't play drunk again until Krysae was released..

Another demolisher kept taking my nades from my pylon (in addition to their own pylon and camping one ammo box) and I stood on top of his body while he bled out.
