If it makes you feel good doing it?  Yes...

Do you know who else believed that two wrongs make a right, that made him feel good about it? The Illusive Man.

But the Illusive Man was right at the end, the Catalyst said it himself. ;):innocent::P:whistle:

OT...nice one, JD19, will try it if I ever run into a group like that.

I like to stand in front of glitchers meleeing them for the whole match - but you.... you take it to a whole new level OP. I like it.

Too bad they fixed the glitch that allowed you to leave the match with the pizza, lol. Now THAT, was epic, but your story was a lot of fun.

I wonder, though... Bioware has said that griefing is technically a ban-worthy offense. Does it count if you're just griefing cheaters? Hm...

So I joined a Platinum game recently that was already in progress, Wave 4. It didn't take too long to realize that there was not one, but two missile glitchers in the match against Reapers in Vancouver. This was the third or fourth match in a row where I had encountered a missile glitcher, and I was sick of it. I decided to stick it out and grief them as much as possible. During Wave 5, I never fired a shot, instead I picked one of the glitchers and stuck to him like glue, trying to keep in front of him as much as possible and being a general nuisance. While it didn't keep him from killing everything with unlimited Cobra missiles, he did go down a few times because I drew a lot of AoE attacks from the Atlas' that joined the fight, and he went down a time or two and had to gel because I wouldn't revive him.

Wave 6 happened to be a pizza delivery. Because I had equipped a lvl 3 Adrenaline Mod, I got to the objective well ahead of the others, and I'm sure you can guess what I did: grabbed the pizza and sat down to lunch with it. It was right at the top of the long ladder, and I just sat there at the top of the ladder with the pizza, watching both missile glitchers fire away at the enemy trying to keep my path clear. After moving around for two of the five minutes from one spot of low cover to the other, the missile glitchers finally caught on to my ploy and stopped firing. I think they were hoping to outlast me and grab the objective. But they just sat there, between the enemy and me, and watched. One went down three times, gelling each time, before getting grabbed by a Banshee he didn't see because he was staring at me. The other, the one I had harrassed the wave before, parked next to me and tried to get his point across by constanst light melees. With about 1:45 left, I decided to have more fun with him and made for the LZ. He started firing away again before noticing that I had crept around the drop off area and hid behind more low cover. That really pissed him off, and he started firing at me with his Cobra Striker. A Maurader took him down and stomped him almost immediately. Figuring to needle to two glitchers one last time, I pull out my missile launcher, deliver the pizza, and run to the second, clearing the patch with two Cobras. I heard one say something to the effect of "about time" (though he added a colorful metaphor or two) as I approached the second objective. So of course, I stood on top of it, refusing to pick it up, firing off my final three Cobras when under heavy fire, using ops packs and gels to stay alive until the timer ran out and we failed the mission.

Sure, I was being a dick. I got no credits because I joined in Wave 4. But I'm sick and tired of glitchers ruining Platinum, I decided to ruin it for them and see how they felt for a change. All they got for their cheating was less money than a Bronze match. Sure enough, I get a message from a MISSILE GLITCHER calling me a "stupid n00b".

It was worth it.

I'm not saying I would do it again (though I probably would), but for that one time it sure felt good to ****** off the cheaters.

Five stars for a most enjoyable story! You are a hero. :D

The joke is on you. Since THEY were the ones first in place that didnt let others play how they want.

If those dickwads of cheaters want to play it their way, they should set the lobby to private and not ruin everyone else´s fun.

Don´t you see it this way too? Because I can´t imagine how someone with the slightest sense of decency would side with the cheating mongrels? :police:

I support missile glitching, but, awesome! Missile glitchers should ask if its ok. not just go in and ruin a game.

So, effectively doing the right thing is bad in your books? Screwed up moral compass you have there. ;)

Actually, I shouldn´t be judgemental, it´s jsut a game and I can understand how someone would say that it´s about fun, let them have theirs.

But what I don´t udnerstand is: Why do you support guys, who game in a PUBLIC lobby breaking the game as it was intended to play for the other guys?

It´s like going to the soccer field and telling them they now have to paly football (edit: For clarification: American football ;) ). Why do you support that? :?

If a man steals my wallet from me, then he's done wrong. If I steal it back, then things are back to the way they should be. So yes. Absolutely yes.

More importantly, this story is great lulz.

I lol at anyone who sides with cheaters who are ruining the game. If you want to glitch, that is on you. If you want to glitch in a public game that makes you a special kind of stupid and you deserve a little red hot karma served up immediately.

Missile glitching and griefing are ban-worthy offenses, do either of these and you get banned, It's that simple.

Sorry, need to recalibrate my M-99 sarcasm. =]

Edit: Also "Nova-SheperdXD" seems to not be sarcastic about it and I really can´t comprehend how anyone would NOT want missile Glitchers ( at least in public lobbies ) to suffer.

Eh. Stealing the wallet back could be a wrong choice in terms of safety because the robber could pull out a knife, gun, or chain to kill you so you don't take the wallet back. Though the right choice would be to contact the authorities to handle the situation since they are supposed to be trained.
