no. i bought this game for my bro a few months ago. He really wants his Harrier X so I immediately took him into gold matches, but its still gonna take a long time. I dont use them, he doesnt use them, but I've said many times on many threads that noobs should just search for platinum lobbies and look for the guy using the graal and striker. Its a noob public service. I've also said many times, recently, that the u.r. drop rates must be increased for all these new comers. My mani is maxed, so doesnt benefit me. Also, Chuck Norris CAN divide by zero. You, me, that other guy, cant.

hmm...

Yeah I'm just going to go ahead and report both of you. Bioware can go away and watch your accounts. In case you weren't aware, while joining a lobby with missile glitchers in and staying because you don't want to waste equipment or whatever, is not against the rules, staying the lobby afterwards, or knowingly benefitting from the Missile Glitchers is still a bannable offense.

I mean really, it's just common sense.

The joke is on you. Since THEY were the ones first in place that didnt let others play how they want.

If those dickwads of cheaters want to play it their way, they should set the lobby to private and not ruin everyone else´s fun.

Don´t you see it this way too? Because I can´t imagine how someone with the slightest sense of decency would side with the cheating mongrels? :police:

I side with anyone who get's annoyed by so calleed White Knight's.

So, effectively doing the right thing is bad in your books? Screwed up moral compass you have there. ;)

Actually, I shouldn´t be judgemental, it´s jsut a game and I can understand how someone would say that it´s about fun, let them have theirs.

But what I don´t udnerstand is: Why do you support guys, who game in a PUBLIC lobby breaking the game as it was intended to play for the other guys?

It´s like going to the soccer field and telling them they now have to paly football (edit: For clarification: American football ;) ). Why do you support that? :?

Maybe they're a missile glitcher

Take a look at my Manifest and you will realize just how ignorant this comment is.

Can't do that, your manifest is private. That, or your GT isn't the same.

But it doesn't. Technically, he's being griefed first because the missile glitchers are ruining his gaming experience. Missile glitchers are glitching AND griefing at the same time so they're in the wrong and he isn't.

That isn't that hard to figure out.

So I joined a Platinum game recently that was already in progress, Wave 4. It didn't take too long to realize that there was not one, but two missile glitchers in the match against Reapers in Vancouver. This was the third or fourth match in a row where I had encountered a missile glitcher, and I was sick of it. I decided to stick it out and grief them as much as possible. During Wave 5, I never fired a shot, instead I picked one of the glitchers and stuck to him like glue, trying to keep in front of him as much as possible and being a general nuisance. While it didn't keep him from killing everything with unlimited Cobra missiles, he did go down a few times because I drew a lot of AoE attacks from the Atlas' that joined the fight, and he went down a time or two and had to gel because I wouldn't revive him.

Wave 6 happened to be a pizza delivery. Because I had equipped a lvl 3 Adrenaline Mod, I got to the objective well ahead of the others, and I'm sure you can guess what I did: grabbed the pizza and sat down to lunch with it. It was right at the top of the long ladder, and I just sat there at the top of the ladder with the pizza, watching both missile glitchers fire away at the enemy trying to keep my path clear. After moving around for two of the five minutes from one spot of low cover to the other, the missile glitchers finally caught on to my ploy and stopped firing. I think they were hoping to outlast me and grab the objective. But they just sat there, between the enemy and me, and watched. One went down three times, gelling each time, before getting grabbed by a Banshee he didn't see because he was staring at me. The other, the one I had harrassed the wave before, parked next to me and tried to get his point across by constanst light melees. With about 1:45 left, I decided to have more fun with him and made for the LZ. He started firing away again before noticing that I had crept around the drop off area and hid behind more low cover. That really pissed him off, and he started firing at me with his Cobra Striker. A Maurader took him down and stomped him almost immediately. Figuring to needle to two glitchers one last time, I pull out my missile launcher, deliver the pizza, and run to the second, clearing the patch with two Cobras. I heard one say something to the effect of "about time" (though he added a colorful metaphor or two) as I approached the second objective. So of course, I stood on top of it, refusing to pick it up, firing off my final three Cobras when under heavy fire, using ops packs and gels to stay alive until the timer ran out and we failed the mission.

Sure, I was being a dick. I got no credits because I joined in Wave 4. But I'm sick and tired of glitchers ruining Platinum, I decided to ruin it for them and see how they felt for a change. All they got for their cheating was less money than a Bronze match. Sure enough, I get a message from a MISSILE GLITCHER calling me a "stupid n00b".

It was worth it.

I'm not saying I would do it again (though I probably would), but for that one time it sure felt good to ****** off the cheaters.

LOL i always do the same. I refuse to do any objective, kill myself in 5 seconds and NEVER revive the glitcher.
Then i message him after the game telling him to go **** himself.

To answer both:
1.) Sometimes in a few situations
2.) If you try your hardest, yes. Most of the time, no.

I was actually in this match that you are bragging about ruining.  It was a public game and I was playing legitimately.  You wasted my time and are a real jerk in my book.

Sorry, but if you yourself were in a glitch match and didn't welcome it being sabotaged, you're pretty much taking advantage of the glitch too, putting you in the same boat.

My time is limited. My time is valuable. Sometimes I just want to play 11 waves of Mass Effect. If I want to move on to a new lobby when it's done, which I may have done, that's my choice. Someone shouldn't make it for me. It is wrong to volunteer me to be collateral damage in someone's morality campaign acted out through a game.

So we should all feel sorry because you got caught in a crossfire? Sh!t happens, deal with it. Some lost credits and a bit of gear isn't a big deal.

Simple fix. Report him and they check out the game and killfeed. If you glitched, they ban you. If you have a history of playing with people that glitch, they ban you.

What is the normal full game time with a missile glitcher 15 mins? You expect us to believe you were that hurt by a wave four wipe with two glitchers?

Same can be said to you getting stuck in a game w/ missle glitchers. Stay and DEAL WITH IT.

Ironsam has a point. If I put on some lvl 4 consumables and get dropped in a game in progress with MGlitchers I am going to stay as well because I don't want to waste the lvl 4 stuff I just put on. I will leave the match after of course, but if some douchebag purposley ruins the game for me because he wants to be all high and mighty both him and the missle glitch douche should go DIAF. You are BOTH scumbags to the 4th person on the team NOT cheating or being an ass.

Anyway the OP was funny since I wasnt there, but if I was there and I just wated my lvl 4 consumable for NOTHING then I would think both the OP AND the 2 missle glitchers were scumbags.

Just quit the match if you dont like it. There is NO NEED to be a scumback Pr1ck to the 3rd and 4th innocent member of the team.

PS - I am in NO way saying Mglitching is OK. Its not and need to go, but neither is F*cking over the innocent member of the team.

Anyone who looks at my manifest can see that I'm not glitching.

Anyway, I'll continue playing ME3. I have 200+ tracked hours of ME3 per Raptr, 100%'d all achievements for 3 & 2, and I am currently playing Infiltrator on my iPhone. ME is largely what I play. I'd just like for the few hours I get to play it daily after work to be as enjoyable as possible. My day beforehand has enough stress as-is. I'm sure others can relate...but that will be all from me for now.
