Spawns are completely effed up

One game - See 2 Guardians - unload on them with the Typhoon, dead, Guardians keep spawning in front of my eyes at the same place they die, I don't even let go of my Typhoons trigger and the kill feed gets saturated with Guardian kills. Killed like 10 of them at the same spot 

Next game - Hack zone get's immediately overrun by 2 Atlases and Phantoms. I pull out the rocket launcher, boom, all dead. 2 Atlases and 4 Phantoms spawn at the same spot! Rocket again, again, again AND AGAIN! I'm out. Another 2 Atlases and 4 Phantoms spawn AT THE SAME FKN PLACE! IN THE HACK CIRCLE. 

WTF?

Hm. Interesting. I have encountered a few things similar to what you describe here, but I also noticed that several hack spots don't have any enemies spawning right next to it, for example:
Firebase White landing zone no longer has enemies jumping up on the platform during hacks
Firebase London drop zone hack no longer has enemies spawning behind your back

Its the angle of your LOS. Basically your LOS covers only part of the spawn spot (which is an area, not just a small spot) so the area that is not in your LOS is considered fair game for spawning.

Take for example, glacier. In the dead end room in the 2nd floor lab, if you move all the way to the left and stay there, the pillar blocks part of your LOS to the spawn spot at the front entrance to the room. If the system chooses to spawn there and you kill off the spawn quick and do not move, they will spawn again in that area. You can see part of the enemy, like half a cannibal, hand of a husk, etc so you know they are spawning right there.

BUT if you move to your right so the entire spawn spot is now in your LOS, the spawning stops

Edit: Also the LOS check has a fixed distance (from my own experience). Once its out of that distance, the system doesn't care. A good example is Dagger. If you go down the steps from your LZ then turn right and stop, you can shoot the spawn far off in the distance even as they full materialise into view.

Had that during solos. Lone Ravager was around the corner. I killed him and another appeared few meters away, out of my FOV. Also, clear extraction point on FB Giant except for Brute charging me and the rest of mobs behind the wall on the right side. My full auto could kill something behind, but Brute hit me and left me with one bar of health. Suddenly Marauder spawned on my back (or jumped from below - haven't seen or heard him though). "Ha-ha! You're dead."

It seems to also happen to me, I once tried letting them stay alive for about 10 seconds or so, killed them, and they stopped spawning :).

I get the feeling that killing them too fast leads them to spawning again.

I love killing freshly-materialising spawn on Ghost (as they drop down from the high rooms, mid-air stasis ftw) and on Hydra too.

I see this alot in pugs with RamboIdiots running all across the map. stay as a grp and it never happens.

The spawn mechanics are so relaxed right now it's ridiculous. They been spawning right in front of my eyes all day.

They could at least give them some sort of "phase in" animation if they're gonna keep it this way.

There should be a minimal distance from player also to prevent spawning. I remember last week i kill two guardians at some spot, spot empty, i just turn around and in a split second i get whacked then sync-killed by a phantom, and a guardian and a centurion walk over my corpse from where was nothing a second ago...

Infinite Guardians spawning?? What difficulty and wave was this on?
As for the boss enemies spawning on top of hack circles, I haven't seen it happen since the balance update that addressed it.

Just had a game with 3 banshees & 3 brutes & 2 ravagers on firebase ghost. Was epic as hell because I was a Volus Sentinel. Man that class is great at setting off tech explosions.

Guardian shredding was on Rio container area. Atlas + Phantom spawns was on Hydra.

Agreed, they've been crazy since Retaliation.  All over the bleedin' shop.


Before they capped the Dragoons, they used to swarm LZ and hack points from the nearest spawn point. Now it just happens with other units

Yeah, that too. Not only they cheat, but thay also double cheat. Some a-hole Marauder suddenly takes 50% less damage.

Last night I had 2 Primes with LoS on my team running to an escort so I missile them. When I turned to run to the escort I got shot in the back by a Prime. A few days ago I killed a couple of Dragoons, when I turned my attention to the Phantom that was with them I get hit from behind by 2 Dragoons. Wonder what happened there... Game is trolling like mad.

Even though they decreased the chances of this, it still happens often. But, usually it's caused by bad teamates who are not close enough to objectives or hack points.
