Sooo, what is the point of expand now? Since it looks like the radius was bumped up and with the radius evo it's larger that it used to be even with expand.

This is with both of the duration upgrades in 'Adept'.

But that's the thing, my singularity says it only lasts for 6.80 seconds.

6.8 seconds would be the duration for which an individual captured in the singularity field is lifted, as opposed to the twenty-something seconds that the singularity itself lasts before dissipating (or imploding if you take that evolution).

Yes the singularity fields hold and field duration are different. I should add that the r1 evolution for hold does nothing other than increase hold duration and is not required for lifting additional enemies. I will also add that the field has stunning capabilities like ME2 singularity does, if the field is stunning multiple targets the "field duration" will be cut. The field last about 20 seconds.

It is kind of sad that none of the updates made it to single player. I'd love to see how the new singularity works out in SP for it is free from network problems. Oh well.
Some updates made it. Like how Fire explosions now work. The singularity update isnt needed. Adept Shep has warp and an assortment of bonus powers available.

True that.
On PC, at least, one can adjust the stock-powers to their MP-values via Coalesced editor. Which is what I did, anyhow, cross-referencing the MP-changelog up in the MP-forums. Liara's throwing black holes everywhere is actually useful now - except that her singularity appears to lack the ability to set up explosions on armoured targets, could not figure out how to implement that anywhere...

It was if I recall, but only part of the update. I have not played Adept in single player yet to confirm whether that is the case. Unless something glitched, that change may have made it.Loki_344 wrote...
I used singularity recently in single player and noticed that it didn't dissipate after it was used in a biotic explosion. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this change part of the update?

No you don't have to play as an adept to test singularity.
Let Liara T'Soni demonstrate the multi-detonating singularity in it's full glory.
