Saber is hands down my favorite weapon but it's lack of viability beyond silver has become apparent since I've started embarrassing myself in golds. I can't wait to see what kind of touch it gets. Throwing a faster reload on it would make me a happy man.

Your problem doesn't come from the weapon. And screw a faster reload, moar damage or RoF would be great.

Probably not, but they must be looking at the Saber more closely and it'll end up that it's update will skip these balance changes and make it into the next, or the one after. But dfinitely not tomorrow's changes.

Saber can have High Velocity barrel which gives damage AND piercing. Paladin can't have damage and piercing in one mod.

HVB doesnt add damage. Only armor piercing and cover penetration.

Personally, my only gripe with the Saber is recoil. It recoils enough more than other similar weapons (valiant, viper, Carnifex, paladin, as examples) that I choose other weapons in the same style to fill the same role. Without using the dampener or mods alongside a scope on the Saber I find it very difficult to maintain fire accurately and precisely.

That's kinda been a thing me and a friend noticed since beginning..

There is always that why use this when u can use that thing with this game. Bioware really changed the guns a lot so the issue isn't that prevalent but still exists

A little more damage for the Saber would be nice, even though my Turian Ghost rocks it on Gold and Platinum. I prefer precision shots and hit and runs so it suits my play style for this class.

Can you imagine a Saber without recoil? That'd be pretty amazing.
If they up the ROF, they'll have to adjust the recoil to compensate. It may either be a damage buff or a mag size increase, I'm thinking.

Well my Paladin and Saber are both X. So I usually just use both on a class. Though, I prefer the Saber, more accurate, more ammo capacity, and higher clip size.

if they wanna get anywhere with it isntead maybe increase it's RoF so you don't have to touch the other snipers in the end and... maybe I noticed onc eyou over do the Saber though it out races the "Black Widow" which was intially something nobody saw at first till awhile back (cause I already knew it)

then again if the damn  ARs had a HVB barrel that at least added some damage buff...this wouldn't be a concern...

..that gun was the LEAST of my worries wtf about Krysae? or the Falcon? >_> what about those two silver weapons the Scimitar and VIndicator >_> they've needed a look over in ages... TO really adjust the Saber You could just up the tempo of fire a tad not by much but at least enough to count up but not out pace a black widow like it did before

While it's true, the Saber has much more utility than a Paladin.

It's the Paladin you guys need to look into.

I wouldn't mind if they made saber full auto. Not necessarily with buffed RoF but it's crazy that Black Widow is full auto and this AR isn't. My fingers wouldn't hurt so much
